In planning for our 2004 8-night land/cruise vacation, we are combining a 3-day or 4-day cruise with a DVC stay. We are arriving Sat and leaving the following Sun. So the 4-day cruise splits our resort stay into 1 day before and 3 days after, whereas the 3-day cruise is conveniently at the end of our stay.
We've done a 3-day cruise, and would really like to do the 4-day this time. The good news is that the 4-day cruise is a better value! Just an extra $100 per person.
The bad news is that the 4-day cruise forces us to use DVC points on weekends, so that option ends up costing more $$ AND more points, for the same 8 days!
Has anyone else faced this issue, and how did you resolve it?
