4 day cruise dining rotations

opinions please on the "best" dining rotation for the 4 day cruise (with a day at sea)

There really is no best rotation on the 4-night cruise. People seem to prefer rotations on the 7-night because of the formal night and other theme nights but they don't have these on the 4-night cruise. Any rotation you get will be great.

While it probably makes little real difference... We did request a certain rotation that we wanted as our own personal preference. We requested the TAPT rotation, because that just seemed to work out perfectly for us. Kicking off the cruise in Tritons, which I suppose is the 'nicest' most formal traditional atmosphere... Then Animators Palette... Then what a better way to end a day a Castaway Cay than with dinner in Parrot Cay, with the tropical theme. Then, Palo, to top off the cruise after a relaxing day at sea. ( I would probably not want to schedule Palo for after a busy and tiring shore day, I would be too exhausted to get dressed up and enjoy it!!!)

Also, I wonder if DCL usually assigns families with young children to the APTA rotation, Childless groups to the TAPT rotation, etc... I think that having TAPT rotation, with late seating, may mean fewer young children? Or have they changed to a complete random, luck of the draw?

I am wondering about rotations as well. I've seen the list of likely rotations--young kids, older kids--but I'll have a mix (5,8, 11) and am wondering which one we'll get.
I'm most excited about animator's palate and the light show--although I think DH and I will do Palos one night, the last night if we can get it.
