4/7 upgrading ticket

We are a family of 4. When I make my reservation using the 4/3 deal I upgrade my tickets to 10 days with no expiration - the additional cost is $507. After I use the ticket the value of the 10 day NE is now $1862 and the cost of 4 annual passes is $1998. The cost to upgrade is $136. Therefore the upgrade essentially costs me the $507 + $136 = $643. Is this right?

I've been crunching these numbers all day for our trip too. I am doing the exact same thing you are with the same amout of people except I used the 9-day NE tickets. Your math looks correct to me. It's the same formula I am using.

I am so confused! I am hoping to book a 7 night package with dining and with a 7 day base ticket through the 4/7 promotion. I really want Park hoppers and water. Should I upgrade the tickets when I book the package or when I get to disneyworld upon first need of park hopping or water? :confused3 What is the best way to go?

If you get any pass with 4 or more days on it, then you get 3 free days. I had 8-day base passes when I did the 4/3 earlier this month and I paid $3 more for each of them than if I'd just gotten the 7-day base pass. I basically paid for a 5-day pass and got 8 days.

Confused here :confused3

I want 10 days worth of park tickets with the 7/4 package.

With 7/4, I can buy 7 days at a cost of $242.82 and get 10 days (value of $252.41)?

If that is correct, do I tell the reservation cm that I want 7 day tickets and that will automatically be bumped up to 10 day tickets?

If I buy 10 days do I get 13 days?

Thanks for helping!

They will give you only what you order (max. 10 days). It's the up to three free days that they automatically give you. If you order a 7-day ticket, they will automatically charge you for a 4-day ticket. If you order a 10-day ticket, they will automatically charge you for a 7-day ticket.

Try THIS link for understanding the 4/3 deal.

I think I might have messed up. When I booked the 4/3 deal I got 10-day non-expiring park hoppers (value $487 ?). Can I "upgrade" to annual passes? I believe AP's only cost $469 ? which is obviously not an upgrade if that is the case. But can I just trade in for AP's?

Nevermind.....answered in another thread.
