WOW you are busy!! must be so much fun all the celebrations and family time though during the Holidays and everything

When we had the big house (7 bedrooms, 7 bathsroom) and my parents were still alive, we have company from Thanksgiving until after Xmas.

Well, we've been booked since they opened the booking windows for Gold but have just now ventured over to this thread!

We are Michael and Marc, to US expats now living in Mexico. We moved one of our onboard bookings from the WBTA to this cruise and couldn't be happier! We may even try to do something wacko like cruise on the Dream on the March 22, 2012, sailing (there's an unofficial DVC member reunion cruise group on that one), stay at WDW for 10 days, and then hop on the Fantasy from there! Let's see if the DVC points will hold up for that duration!!!

Just want to share what John and I did today. We drove up to Sausalito, got lunch to go at Sam's BFF's family store, Mollie Stones. Afterward we drove to Stinson Beach to eat our lunch. Once lunch was done, we went to Muir Woods. All in all a sunny, wonderful day...with temps in the mid 70's. I hope to post some pics later.

As silly as this may sound, maybe we'll get to meet this time around! So many that we didn't meet on the TA. Definitely looking forward to this cruise, too!!

Yesterday John had jury duty. He was not chosen to serve from the jury pool but he had an interesting day. Potential juror number two was Joan Baez who also lives in Woodside. John says the attorneys question her extensively but she was not chosen, She spoke about her political views, ex husband David Harris and son drummer Gabriel Harris which John found interesting. I remember when she used to date Steve Jobs who also lives in Woodside.

I have been kicking around a few ideas for the name of the thread.

Here are:

1. First Carialantic Fantasy Adventure
2. The First Carialantic Fantasy Cruisers
3. Taking the first Fantasy in the Carialantic

Anybody have any thoughts?

I would like to come up with a few ideas so we could have a poll to vote on which name we like best. Once we have a name, I could ask Jordak to help design a logo for us to post and for tee shirts, etc.

Not silly at all. There were just so many of us, we probably didn't get to really meet even 50% of them. And we had 14 days together

I agree with Jon, not silly at all. I think the reason we met so many people is that we toured with quite a few before the cruise in Barcelona. Plus we signed up for many activities. Every day, we called or had calls from DISers to do breakfast or lunch which we find is about the only way you can meet new or old DIS friends.

Welcome aboard We are Jennifer, Scott, and Abby (11 at time of cruise). This will be our 4th Disney Cruise. My Hubby's 40th Birthday is April 5th 2012, we will be celebrating onboard as well. Congrats on a possible upgrade they are wonderful when they happen.

Welcome aboard Rosemary and family!! We are Noel and John and this maiden voyage (first maiden for us as well) will be our 6th DCL cruise. How exciting to have a birthday aboard! We celebrated our 25th Anniversary on the WBTA in September 2010. Our stateroom had lots of gits and decorations which made coming into the stateroom even more fun!!

I am not sure if anyone is taking lists for the FE yet. However, if I am incorrect, I am sure someone will quickly correct me!!

We will be joining you all on this maiden vaoyage and are very excited I am Terrie and will be traveling with DH, Wally We just sailed our very first DCL cruise last month on the DVC member cruise and are officially hooked!!! Booked the Dream while on board for May 15 and Already booked for next year's member cruise and decided to make it a B2B with a 3 day beforehand At this rate we might need an intervention We have sailed Carnival and RCC and it was ok but nothing like our experience with DCL. I am sure getting to know people on the DIS and the camraderie that can be found on cruise meet threads really adds to the experience
