Hi everyone,

We just got back from Disneyland and it was a memorable trip since our 4 year old was able to ride Splash Mountain (she loved it!), Tower of Terror(was scary, but fun, but she does not want to ride it again) and Soarin' (she loved it!). Now we are planning our trip in November and from what I've read, she is tall enough for Test Track and Space Mountain. Have any of you had 4.5 year olds ride those rides? Her birthday is in Feb. so she will be 3 months shy of 5 years old. Thanks for your help!

My dd at 4 loved test track and wouldn't go near space mountain...at 9 she still won't go near space mountain. If you think she will like it see if she wants to go, if not then I'd skip it.

My dd went on splash at 4 and loved it. She went on test track at 5 and wouldn't have had a problem at 4. Space Mtn. is less intense than either sm or tt. dd didn't go on sm until 7 but that was because I was a chicken. I'm now trying to figure out why I was so scared to try it, it's great.

Test Track really isn't that intense and shouldn't be a problem. My ds went on Space Mountain during the trip that he turned 5 and loved it. For reference, he also loved Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Test Track. He went on Tower of Terror and did fine, but he said that he doesn't like the feeling and doesn't want to ride again.

If I'm not mistaken, Space Mt. has a 44" height requirment? :confused3 My own 4 1/2 yr. old is going this fall and he will make the 40" rides but not Space. :sad2: At any rate, we definitely plan to do Test Track! He can't wait to do all the "big" rides this time!

You are right...Space Mountain did have a higher height requirement. My ds just made that one when he was turning 5. This year (he's 7 now), he is really looking forward to trying Rock 'N Rollercoaster for the first time.

This March my GD was 3 weeks shy of her 4th birthday and a hair over 40 inches, She enjoyed Test Track, Spl Mtn, Soarin, and BTMRR. She didn't like ToT at all. After ToT she said, 'Pop, I don't ever want to ride that again!'. When I asked why, she said, 'It's not my scene!' At 3! Out of the mouths of babes..

Sorry to be a party pooper but Space Mt. is 44"

I think Test Track will be fun for her! im taking a just-turned-5 on it this August!

Our daughter is 4 and she loved test track, rode big thunder 3x's in a row with her arms up. She is just one inch shy of EE and she cries every time we go and she can't ride it. She is our little daredevil!! :bitelip:

Good grief, I knew I had tall kids, but I didn't know they were that tall! Last time we went, my DS was 3 1/2 and 43". He did really well on all the mountains but Space (still a bit short for that one!), Test Track, Dinosaur, and ToT. We are going back the week before Labor Day this year, and my DD will be just 3 and right now she's 39 1/2"...I'm praying for a half inch growth spurt before we leave! I think she'll be fine, too as she's also a dare-devil.

My DS hit the 40" mark at 3 1/2 and loved Splash Mountain, Test Track, and Soarin'. He measures weekly now at 4 1/2 to hit the 44" mark for Space Mountain. Seems he hit a stunt growth pattern and still hasn't quite made it there yet. Crossing my fingers he does by end of Nov.

I think she'd like Test Track. But I'm pretty sure you have to be 44" to ride Space Mountain.
