4/3 deal extended???

Does anyone recall when the 4/3 deal was extended last year? I know when it first came out it was only for a certain time period and it kept getting extended. I always go to WDW in April and am hoping it gets extended through then and beyond. Any ideas when they extended the travel dates last year? thanks!

Last year it was definitely available for April stays. At first dates around Easter were blacked out, then some Easter week dates became available too when the offer was extended. Some clients booked for late June stays and still got the 7/4 deal. But I have only seen this for 2009, never in the prior years. It really all depends on the economy and booking patterns.

This deal runs to 12/20/09 to book, so if they do extend the stay dates they might do that right after the booking window closes, or since it's the holiday week they might wait a week or two to see if bookings pick up. Last year they seemed to announce the new or extended deal as soon as the last booking date had past.

They were extended last year. I got 5/30-6/02 with the deal.

I booked the 4/3 deal for May just gone, it was a great saving

However, from what I remember, the 4/3 deal was first announced around 5.00 pm on a weekday in November (I booked it the day it was announced), from the moment it was announced in the November it covered up until May (I think it might have been until June/July but I can't be 100% on that), Jan - March had the gift card, after that it was the 4/3 deal alone. Based on that, maybe I'm being pessimistic, but seeing as this 'new' 4/3 deal and 5/2 deal has only been announced up until March and not later as the original 4/3 deal announced last November, maybe it won't be extended. Anybodies guess though really isn't it

Just checked, and last year it was announced on 6 November:

*****Book between November 6th and December 20th!*****
Travel between January 4th and June 27th!
Travel between January 4th and March 29th to include the Disney Gift Card.
Travel between March 29th and June 27th to include the discount, but not the Disney Gift Card.

I've still got my fingers crossed they'll extend the deal, but it's been announced differently this time, although I'm sure they also extended it until August after the original announcement, so we can but hope.

We're booked 8/4-8/11 so hoping it's extended through mid-August. Although, I'm wondering if this deal is better than FD.
