Possibly you could have chosen another username more appropriate for you. May I make a few suggestions?---

1. Vanished :confused3
2. Shower after Shower :umbrella:
3. Aren't you glad I use Dial! ::yes::
4. I think we left our sunglasses back in the room :smooth:
5. Must've been a long line at the bar :drinking1

I think I'd like to start my very first poll. Let's take a vote. In the event that SteveMed should decide not to grant permission toTatonka to use his term, which of the above would make a suitable alternate. Certainly, the possiblities are limitless. If anyone should have additional ideas, feel free to post.

Wet T-Shirt Bar Vanisher

That's my vote.

But, she said she got dispensation for use of the name so maybe people aren't voting because the Holy See has declared it OK.

QOTD- American Beer? I am not a beer lover, but I do love a good Belgian Ale now and then. HGP is a Belgian beer lover, unfortunately, the habit is extremely expensive($100. per case) of Chimay White. However, we have found a few great American made Belgian Style beers that are much more reasonable. Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown, NY makes and excellent Belgian style beer. We've toured the brewery a few times. For anyone who is interested in Belgian beer(I can bet we have a few Pacific Northwesters who are) they were purchased by Duvel a couple of years ago. Pat had a Quadrupel last night that was Ale with Cherry Lambic with was awesome. Quadrupel means it has 4 times the alcohol of a regualr beer! We usually stick to doubles or triples but they ALL contribute to weight gain! The other brewery in the US that we like is in Maine-Allagash. They have a few really good belgian style beers. Allright enough out of me. Of couse we love Yuengling Lager from PA! There is always a time and a place for a nice cold Bud Light even though we are beer snobs. Mike(mermaid Patty's hubby) works for Budwiser and they have truly an amazing selection of microbrewed type beers that aren't marketed everywhere yet to satisfy even the most discriminating beer palate. Really amazing!

AWESOME info. I LOVE Belgian beer. I spent time in Brugge touring breweries. Harpoon brewery UFO is a wheat beer that reminds me of Belgian beer. We have never tried Alagash, although we have had plenty of opps to do so. I will make it a point to this summer. I have never been able to get into Yuengling. Our friends who live near you are all about it - it's all they drink (well, that and wine) and I always have to force it down when I am there. Something about it just doesn't do it for me. People do rave about it though. I hear more times people saying to me, "oh, you're gonna be down in Philly, have some Yuengling for me". :crazy2:

Hey, forgot to say to you - you are soo in for it - did you check your cabin location? Look who are your neighbors - this whole time I had no clue you were there. Guess it took our A personality planners to lay it all out for us nincompoops to figure out. I am sooo physched I am close to the Martinis. I will bring along some special stuff too. I'm just hoping you can't hear Catrina waking up in the middle of the night from there. She has a tendency to wake up screaming - no idea why that girl can't just rise and shine like the rest of the world. She went from a baby who never cried to someone who just can't get the hang of waking up in a nice orderly fashion. :guilty:

Barb - Sorry I can't help with downloading the whole thread. Cute idea though! So excited for you (and jealous). Have a safe trip. My DS Kyle can't wait to meet your kids.

CG - Please don't say that you HATE socks! It hurts my feelings :rotfl2: Just kidding - guess I never told you what I do for a living.

OHJulie :wave2:

Ooo, my bad - but when you have small feet, it's hard to find good socks that fit correctly. Whassup with the one size fits all mentality of the sock industry? I have to buy socks that fit size 4-7. well, there is a heck of a lot of difference between a size 4 and a size 7 and I am pretty sure they make them only to fit size 7s.

BARB!!!!! I am sorry, I forgot. I totally know how to download a thread. If you really want to do this - and really, it's totally not necessary as it's an awful lot of castlegazer ramblings, you just go to the top of the thread on the pageyou are on, like this page and you will see a drop down menu for thread tools. Pull it down and you will see "Printable version" This will give you a very easy to handle version that you can just print off, no cutting and pasting - just a hell of a lot of printing.

ulittletinker - I just chcked out your newest versions of the door signs and they are awesome!

Sue Egg - I LOVE your photos! Love the Shank one!

Ok Julie. Spill...You can't leave us hanging like that. What is your vocation?

Cripes!!! A guy tries to get some office work done after being gone and you all go nuts, I love it.

As far as the vote, I like them all, because anyone who is willing to sneak off and make nice, has my vote.

PhillyJen, you can weigh in at my house anytime.

The Beer thing, the Queen in now on to Mic Ultra, I really don't like the stuff will have a Gunniess every so often, but Crown Royal or Makers Mark for me.

Have to do some work, have a sales meeting today and a Board meeting next Tuesday, then physically I will check out, because mentally I am already out of here.

Hi Ohjulie
This may help

St Marteens average rainfall in May is 2.3 the third lowest during the year, however ST Thomas is 3.3 somewhere in the middle. It typically is a short quick tropical rain . Luckily out of the 10 or so times I have visted the islands it rained like I said maybe once. I know my suitcase can't handle anymore clothes so I will head for cover if a shower occurs, either that or the ocean :sunny:

CG , I typically go to a Foo-foo salon also but I was so close to my Moms and the girls didn't want to go to what they call the castle so I went to my old haridresser. All I can say is never again. I'm sure noone is going to really care what eachother looks like so if it doesn't come back right, oh well, I'll be alright. :)

Because I just did that printable view thing, thought I'd bring back my favorite quote of the thread from Tom:

Castle Gazer, you had better be careful because we have been known to grow on people, as Stuart Smally would say "I am good enough, I am smart enough, and gosh darn it someone likes me".

Ya think they grew on us?

Wow, busy board this morning!!

The Pirate woke up feeling much better this morning, thank you very much. He's off to pillage villages. I am taking our little gal to the vet for her rabies booster so she can go to "camp" while we are gone.

Tomorrow is our shopping day. We both need swimsuits and shorts. We live in the rainy Pacific northwest; I don't know what folks wear for warm weather. I'd bring my grass skirt, but I'm afraid that the friction of my thighs rubbing together might start a fire...

Hey, no more cruise ship fires! Please! :lmao:

Glad to hear The Pirate is feeling more like....a pirate! Good news! Keep pumping the vitamins and Tylenol!

WOW - Gotta love that picture!

Beer - not me - just can't stand it! Anything else - wine, margarita's, martini's and all those drinks with umbrella's. My DH however loves all beer - in fact he will probably have one in his hand whenever you see him.

Suzie - I am a national account manager for a sock, hosiery and intimate apparel manufacturer. See, now you all will expect me to be wearing socks and hosiery and I am going to be bare legged.

CG - I know what your saying about sizing for small feet - just depends on the product.

OHJulie :wave2:

Hey guys, just a word of warning. Be sure to re-verify all your car rental info and well, every ressie you have. I just spent an hour on Budget's web site and on the phone with them. Apparently back in the day, about 10 months ago, when I made my car reservation there was an error in the computer system and the rate I received is not available. I wasin there simply trying to switch a credit card around, not make big changes. Well, customer service treis and tries to get the rate back down to where I had it, all the while I am saying, well, I have a print out of the ressie saying the rate was fine, why can't I get that rate? Long story short, after a long drawn out period, they say, OK, we'll give it to you, but the counter may not honor that so if they don't we'll give you a refund when you get back - ***!!!!! :furious: SOOOOO GLAD I WAS OUT THERE CHECKING. This would have truly sucked to have found out when we got off the ship.

On the plus side I got a lower rate going from MCO to the port through an e-mail offer and was able to go up to an SUV from a full size for only $20 more for a four day rental. Now I don't have to stress about how we will fit all the luggage in.

I have never rented from Budget before so I was already a little nervous.

Great Shyla! Now all of the "newbies" are going to think that we're DORKIER than we really are!!!!!

Funny story...
The hubby and I started going tanning in training for the big cruise (life is all about the cruise). We went last night. Well this morning I noticed that I have 1..2..3..4.. red lines going down my backside!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: So Steve may be known as the  man but I now resemble a CANDY CANE!! Can't wait to go back and try to even myself out.

QOTD: Not a beer drinker at all. Most of us RI girls enjoy cosmos!! My new favorite lately is an apple martini. Gosh--my mouth is watering

Hey all...let's knock on some wood when talking about the rain, okay?

Still can't get into the work mode today...so not like me.

:wave2:

You know, Ed just spoke words into my ear. Another Steve and Shannon! Yes, our "dear" nephew who works for the SS/Vice President and his wife are Steve and Shannen. Oh, boy. I just KNOW that you guys are not like them! It's just not possible! Thanks, Ed, for pointing it out.

Um, two questions....
1) How did you get the stripes?
2) How did you find out they were there?
