To the WW girls- check out www.dwlz.com She has written to gotten the nutritional information from a huge number of chain type restaurants. She has also figured out the points on them, even like Outback Steakhouse(don't get excited, not a place I'd frequent on WW). I swore by this site when I was on Flex. I am really glad you are successful! What a great feeling! The great thing about weight watchers is once you learn the program, it really is for life! In fact, everything I do in the back of my mind revolves around what I learned at ww. Except for the fact that I only pour 2 point glasses of wine at my house. Doesn't matter how big....2 points! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Osho-6am is my favorite time on the ship. Up to deck 9 for coffee and then a comfy chair on deck to watch the world wake up!

Gotta run, date with the big man at O'Metzler's bar....no green beer though!

My 7 year old granddaughter Adryen (yesterday was her 7th birthday) would like a pen pal. PM me email addresses and I will have her email when shes at my house. She has already composed an opening email and wants to send it to someone.

Awwww....she is welcome to send it to Hannah. Hannah loves to type...just slowly! I will pm you her email address.

Jen- So Funny - My glasses of wine are two points also! Doesn't matter how big the glass is they only hold 4 ounces! :rotfl2:

Craziness , well DH is not liking our flight change nor am I so now things have really changed . Barry is going to fly home the original flight via Delta and now the girls and I are going to Port Charlotte to stay for 5 days and take a better flight home , Delta is going to switch us for free because of their awful change . We will be staying with his Mom and probably just hanging at her pool and going to the beach , I guess it will be a touch of relaxation after the cruise. This is so crazy thou!

Hey Jen , instead of walking we can sit and drink our lattes !:coffee:

Jen, I remember Dotti's site from when I did WW. BE CAREFUL!!! I brought this to my counselor's atttention and she told me that it's not always right! I did double check a few things and only found one incorrect, but out of the few there was one. So, definitely go by your points book and double check! Nothing like the feeling of overeating your points. Very depressing.

That said, I must put my kudos out to ALL of you! I really think you all are doing a great job and I KNOW you can do it!!! Keep up the good work!!!

My bed is calling me. 4 hours with 19 girls, ugh....thank goodness I wasn't staying the night! Some of them are just the best and sweetest, but some make you wish....well, let's just say, I caught 4 of them outside when they were supposed to be changing into PJ's.....they are not supposed to be outside and once you leave the building, you can't get back in!!!! Don't know what these girls were thinking! Little knuckleheads!!!

Night all! Tomorrow is another day! Someone please say a toast for me!

Happy St. Paddy's day!!!

Its been quite a St. Patty's Day in my town :shamrock:

Started off going to Curves :yay: :yay: this Am at 6:30. When I left I had forgotten that the local watering hole for the working man (if you know what I mean) was having their annual parade thru the town plaza. When I left Curves I had to pull over and watch. It was led by the decorated local septic pump truck with bagpipes following and all array of gitty ups. There must have been 100 town folk dressed in green, babies in strollers and dogs included. This is the one day that the locals can act like yokels. At 7 in the morning :sunny: , no less. So I had to go home and dig thru my goodies to find my gitty up. Found my leprachan earrings buried at the bottom of my jewelry box, along with my shamrock scarf and wished I had my beloved green hat that a friend lost when she borrowed it :faint: Needless to say, it was like halloween, only GREENGREEN

Received some flowers at work from my sales rep. Had fun answering the phone "Top of Morning". And worked my a** off.

At 5:30 I hit the "watering hole" and the party was on, all over town. The locals seemed to be bar hopping and all the bars had food...the traditional Irish fare. An old friend, who happens to be Irish and a great singer, sang his usual Danny Boy wearing his Irish golf hat with the putting green on top.

I have to tell you that living in a tourist town for the last 37 years and watching it become so, makes these special occasions for the locals really special. Most of the time we stay away from downtown on the weekends. I notice that since my children have become adults and growing up in this town, that they make an effort to be downtown for different occasions. Its like old home week. You see everyone you know.

Also received an email from my son, Justin. After leaving Prague, he's spend some time in Munich and Budapest. Today he arrived in Athens and was going to rest and then try and find some GREEN BEER :drinking1

WW tomorrow and Curves. I need to do that pound ticker. Wish I knew how.

:confused3

Good evening, all! HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY!!

(if TT wants to be 'your first' then let me be your last! :thumbsup2

PJ--This is so cute to have the girls emailing. Just so you know, she and I do this transcription style. She sits near me and starts rattling off her thoughts and questions and I type. I make no guarantees that it will always make sense, but she's loving it!
Hope the sleepover goes well tonight! For Emma's last bday we had 8 girls total and did a Birthday Express party using "The Dog" theme. (y'know the cute images of dogs where there's unnecessary zoom on the dogs face and they look soooo cute).
I found a 12x12 scrapbook pg of a dog house and scanned and enlarged a copy of a dog sticker sheet from Mrs. Grossman's stickers. Then we cut out the doggys from the copy and mounted them on black cardstock and used them to play "Who Let The Dogs Out" which is my variation of pin the tail on the donkey, except you have to try to put the dogs back in the door of the doghouse. It was so CUTE! Feel free to copy my idea, since it was such a cool one! ;) It was a great party with the doggy-ears headbands and little bowls of what looked like dog food but was actually cookies and a candy bone. :dog: :dog2: pug:

Partypat, I will PM you for Adryen. The more the merrier! Sounds like quite a party in your town and it's great that the locals get their own celebrations too...makes the tourist season that much more bearable. :) You won't believe this, I'm working on a Master Cruise Database Summary Sheet (that's what I'm calling it...sounds very official, dudnit?) and I believe I have sleuthed out your family tree of cruisers from the other site. I'll send you a copy and you let me know, k? It was fun! Now I can finally keep everyone on this thread straight on paper without taking so much space up in my head! :headache: CG & Suzie, I will for sure get you a copy to ck over for mistakes!

OHJulie, I am dying to know what great tips you can share from "Beach Style". I could use all the help I can get!

Suze, LOVE the luggage embellishments! I still havent gone in to get my paint chips yet, though I've seen them there at the store before. I know I need to be packing NOW (girls, you are WISE to start now...all those doubting DH's have NO idea what a job this is!). Hopefully I can start in next week...too much going on this weekend.

Okay, so I went to my weigh-in this am and I'm down another 1.6 for a total of 11.8! Woo Hoo! :woohoo: baby steps, y'know. It is VERY satisfying to change that ticker every Friday. I wish it was more, but the best part is that I (prepare yourself) actually LOOK FORWARD to my workout nowadays. It really helps me start my day on a positive note and get my blood flowing and my body moving! :yay: That WW Dining Out book is really great. I hear the online info is more current and more comprehensive, but I just can't devote any more time to computer use :surfweb: or I'll get 'bed-sores' on my rear end! :rotfl:

Better get going. I'll be on tomorrow am (unusual for me) since I procrastinated my work for today and will have to do it then, so sweet dreams everyone!

I can relate to that :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So OK, the QOTD:

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU SPEND ON THE "CHAIR" FOR THE GOOD OF THE 4/29'ERS

Myself: Oh lets just say......an average of ......each day.....over a perior of the last month......hum....hum....oh heck, whats the difference when your having fun and meeting new friends....I have to say it is worth it :grouphug:

Partypat- Perhaps I am not going to get bed sores. My computer is on the kitchen counter and so I stand most of the time....Does that burn any calories I wonder? :rotfl2: Every once in a while I will take it to the comfy chair in the family room(hmmmm good idea this morning) but as soon as I get situated with my coffee and my laptop-someone needs me. They don't just need me, they can't live one more minute without me getting up and doing something for them.... :rotfl2: So I just stand!

The town St. Patty's day celebration sounds awesome. That is one thing I think we will miss here, as our "town" is a combination of about 4 different "towns". My mom and dad live in a neat little "destination town" and they often just go and walk around, have breakfast in the little sidewalk cafes and shop in the cute little shoppes. It does get crowded, but they tend to avoid it during peak times.

Hope everyone's St. Patty's day was nice. Pat, Kate and I made homemade pizza(I had salad and shrimp cocktail) and sat at the bar talking about the cruise. It was a natural conversation since Kate has not take off her "skirty suit" since it came on Thursday. She already has it on this morning(it's 39 degrees). Thank God for her cute little body! We planned for Mermaid PAtty and family's arrival next Friday. We decided to inaguerate the bar with a Caribbean style party. I have to check out foodtv.com for some awesome recipes for drinks and food. We will be wearing our Caribbean best, playing a little reggae. It should get us "in the mood" for the cruise.

We didn't get a call from Hannah last night-except to let us know she got home from Libby Lou ok. This, for those of you who don't know, is a store, where they transform seemingly innocent little girls in to tramps and harlots with their make-up and hair! Then they do the Macerena in the middle of the mall for passersby with their little (to quote Partypat) "gitty ups" on :thumbsup2 (I love that saying!) Can you tell I am not fond of the place? But it was her best friends birthday party... what could I do?

Today we are just hanging around the house, finishing little projects. We have been looking for a cool chalk board for the entrance to the "bar" to announce the "specials" :rotfl2: and haven't found one we like so we are attempting to frame one out on the wall and do chalkboard paint. It should be fun.

I hope everyone has a nice, relaxing day. Wondering if we will hear from the Tuggles today???? :faint: :crazy2:

I finally decided to do the ticker. This is since Christmas(4 of those extra lbs were added during the holiday season). Do I have to go in every friday to update it? I forgot something horrible....my grandparents have dial up service....arrggghhhh.... It will take me the entire 10 days I am back from their house to catch up with the goings on here..... Hopefully I can ping someones wireless network from where we are....It is amazing how many unsecured wireless networks there are out there!

There's some great smilies for this, but I will save you all. The whole, "I love this diet because it makes me feel awful after I eat Taco Hell" thing was, well, erroneous. I have been throwing up since 4 pm yesterday and it hasn't stopped. Needless to say, Taco Bell will not be on my list of foods I eat agin for a long, long time. About 4 pm I decided I needed to get into my car to go home - a 45 minute commute - and I got about half way there before this all started. Thank God for a messay car with Plastic bags galore. Guess I need not worry about the point counting yesterday :guilty:

OK - enough grossing you all out now. I am off to bed again.

CG, sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather, we here are up and around, unfortunately the Queen had to take a brownie field trip with our Tweener this morning, and having a 4 year old get up at 7 did not help either. We started yesterday at noon, that is when I cracked my first Killians, then closed the O'Tuggle party at 1:30 this morning with nothing less than a Crown on the rocks. We had quite a troop in and out of the house all night long, everything from Pango with his day long limo drinking fest, to a Texas hold'm game, wiped out 13 pounds of corned beef, to of course my beloved Spartans deciding they wanted to go on Spring Break a little earlier this year. Tween also lost her first tooth on the top last night, so they tooth fairy had to make an appearance before all was said and done.

Took almost the whole day off of the boards yesterday and had to do a lot of catching up, Pat sounded like a great time and a great place to live, I would love to come and be one of those dreaded tourist some time out in wine country. When we worked at Cedar Point we used to call the guests animals, but we had some of the greatest times playing animal when we were not working.

PJ, you should be happy if you can believe it not once last night did I try to Drunk Dial you, I think that might be a first. Tell Patrick that I also had the Queen purchase a rolling cooler for our up coming trips, great minds must think a like, I do plan on rolling it on to the ship, so lets see what happens.

Trisha, keep up the good work, we will start you on some 12 ounce curls very shortly.

We have been watching the Cruise DVD this morning and even Linds just got up from playing Sims and came over, just for a second, but hey that still counts as interest. She is not the happiest camper, because her Coach came over last night and they have a soccer double header scheduled for the day we get off the ship. We should be landing in Detroit about the time that the second game is going to start, it is to bad, but hey this is a Disney Cruise what are we to do.

The Queen let me have Abby yesterday since I took it off and she had to go to coffee time with the other hens, so I took her with me to run some errands. She talked the whole time, "Dad why do birds have feathers", "Dad why do you have to get gas", "Dad why are there so many shopping carts", "Dad can I have lip gloss", "Dad will you fix my barrett", "Dad thats not how Mommy does it", "Why are you driving Mommys van", "Do you get tired of peanut butter", I said to the Queen "you do this everyday?" Turns out she does, no wonder I get asked so many questions about what my adult (term used loosely) day was like.

Well I had better check out,

Tom pirate:

Too funny, Tom! Abby is such a little chatterbox, eh? Welcome to the club! You are officially a member now!! I have to tell Tori sometimes just to rest her mouth and be as quiet as you can....lasts about a minute. It must be the age!

CG - so sorry to hear of your downfall. I must say, though, not a good way to lose weight. I know you really want to drop the pounds, but I must caution against this type of diet....just kidding, hope you feel better, sweetie! Wonder if you got what Catrina had and it's not TB after all? Although, I try to stay away from that place! I've heard horror stories from people that used to work there....still gives me shudders! Get better soon! :sunny:

My Ode to the Green yesterday was pitiful. :sad2: My broccoli on the chicken/broccoli pizza was it. Ed doesn't like corned beef and cabbage (YUMMMMMM!!!!) so we don't get it here.....bummer, it's the one thing about SPDay that I like! So, thank you everyone that helped pick up my slack! You guys are real friends! :lmao:

Got Tori's packing 75% done today!!! WOOHOO!! Although it scares me to see that I can pack her clothes for so many days and she STILL has enough clothes in her dresser to wear! YIKES! My name is Suzie and I am a shopoholic!

We interrupt this post to bring the following:
OOOHH!!! PJ!!!! Just for you!!! Thought of you when I read this!! :lmao: :lmao:
shoppingarticle.jpg

Okay, so we got a lot of cruise packing accomplished yesterday and today. Ed tried his tux on and he swims in his jacket!!! WOW!! I didn't realize how much weight he has lost! So now we need to see if we can find a tailor to take the jacket in. The pants are adjustable, thank goodness, so they still fit! I think men just look SOOOOOOO GOOD in tuxes! Makes me swoon sometimes! Uh, did I just say that out loud?!

Alright, gotta get short-stuff down for her nap. Still got a few things to do, then we're meeting up with our friends to do our WING FACTORY feast! Gotta wear my fat pants....wait, all my pants are fat pants!

And, finally, one last picture for you all! This was Ed and I last year. I was so proud I could fit into my thong bikini! Don't I look fabulous!

ED!! DUDE!! You are wrecking it for the rest of us! What are you thinking?!!

AAARRRGGGG!!!!! pirate: We can't put up with this! Next thing you know, the Wench will be walking around muttering obscene phrases like "I bet Ed shovels snow" and "I bet Ed eats with utensils".

Tom! SteveMed! We gotta get this guy!

AAARRRRRR!!!!

Hmmm..... I bet Ed doesn't make his wench change her own oil.....

Sorry, we didn't have any 2 x 4's around that day! Oil changing - puh! A breeze! Why we rednecks can change our oil with one hand and diaper a baby with the other! You west coasters.....

Just kidding, actually I do know how to change oil, I just prefer not to. Not when you have a Big Strong Man around the house....actually, Jiffy Lube is just around the corner, not around the house!! :rotfl2:

Now don't go sending Ed a new shirt with a bullseye on it. No target practice on board the ship, okay?!?!

Didn't mean to infer it was Taco Bell food that did me in - nope it was the stomach virus that Catrina had. It's a nasty buggar. Feeling better now after two long naps today.

Now we're having to blow off three offers for social events tonight, but I am still a mess.

Belle&Rella fam - sounds like a great time was had by all at the O'Tuggle residence!
Since I never was quite able to wish everyone a happy drink green beer day myself, here ya go: Slainte agus tainte!

And for everyone not luck enough to be married into a huge Irish family it is pronounced, slawn-che oggus tinn-che and means Health and Wealth!

Isn't that a Wiggles song?

Not much new here , I worked today thats about it. My Ebay items are doing very very well so thats a little extra money in my pocket since I now have a 15 day vacation in florida.

CG , sorry you were so sick , nothing I hate more then the puks .

Suzie , Great pic you little hottie .

The Roses , you guys are way way too funny!

O.k , thats my quickie post for the night , I'm going to go relax with my honey. I promised him no gym tonight , plus it a free Cinamax weekend !!

LOL , I try and do a quick spell check before I post and I have to say it wants to correct too many things tonight , like CG's Irish phrase , puks , Ebay , pic , and hottie , all I can say to that is tough crap spell check :rotfl2:

Apparently when I am sick, I bake bread. I baked two loaves today, a banana chocolate chip loaf and a white braided loaf. Whassup with that????? I ain't no Martha Stewart by any means!!!

Anyone else like to bake bread. I love the smell in the house. Now on WW I can't really eat what I baked, but it smells awesome!!!

Ohso, you may have somethin there - it does wring a dastardly Wiggles bell to me too. My son is a big afficiando - I will ask him tomorrow.

OK - I am off to bed. I have been saving the pictures on the pic of the day thread for later scrapbooking. There are some amazing photographers out there. If you get a chancem check out CanadianCruiser2 - I think that's the right name. He uses Lumapix like I do too.
