Moanin' Guideon Slaughter-my man HGP's new pirate name....isn't sure he likes my new name "Jelly Wrist Tess"? Hmmmmm.....I think I proved this morning that my wrist is JUST FINE!!!! Valentines Day obligations out of the way... I am able to enjoy my hubby and his awesome Valentines Dinner. He is making Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail with Wasabi Cocktail sauce, Stuffed Lobster Tail, Grilled Filet Mignon with Bearnaise sauce and awesome looking twice baked potatoes! THEN to top it off....I have earned my keep by making Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee!

Anyway-the BEST thing about HGP is that he always makes a theme martini for when we are in the kitchen prepping our meals. Tonights Martini- and I think it is my new favorite.....Passion Fruit Martini. Not too sweet, and not nearly as potent as the KLM!!! Delish!!!

Napolean Dyanomite , yup , we have that on DVD , I never made it through the whole movie yet , but for those who don't know , you need to watch it through the credits , there is more of the movie after . DH and Brian who is coming to Disney with us watch it together when he comes down here . God and I thought it might be stupid , what was I thinking ?

This IS truly one of my favorite movies of all time!

Yummy yummy dinner for Jenn & HeadGearPat...I'm SOO jealous! My DH (and I do mean DEAR) is injured on the couch from a ski jump this past Friday. He did surprise me with calling in a delivery of flowers & chocolates, though. What a sweetie!

Barb, in Napoleon Dynamite, Pedro declares he's going to ask his date to the prom by this line "I think I'll build her a cake or something." Has your DS not seen this movie? It's a must for all preteens and adults like myself who were awkward preteens at one time (weren't we all?)

Maybe we could get them to play it in the Buena Vista Theater onboard???

We have the talking Napoleon Dynamite pen, which I almost used in church one time, but thought better of it, because the clicker part does NOT extract the ball point pen as you might think...instead it plays one of 7 different Napoleon lines. Wouldn't that have been great in church: "Tina, you fat lard, come get some dinner!"

Who had the doll? CG? I asked for it for Christmas, but Santa never came thru!

Haven't seen the movie, I'll have to check it out.

By the way, I just taped this show called "Weddings Away". They are wedding planners in Grand Cayman. I'm not just rambling, there is a reason I'm mentioning this! One of the weddings they have planned is a Pirate wedding Haven't had a chance to check it out, but thought it might fit in around here. I think it's coming on again, check out the Travel channel I think.

My husband called me on his cell to ask me to come pick him up at the Roblin hospital (where the ski hill is). He was just messing with me, but now you see why I didn't want to let him in on this thread. Can you imagine what would happen if Stevemed, Belle & Rella's Dad, Head Gear Pat, etc get ahold of him.

BLBCB- You've got to go rent the movie. Nice of your DH to spend the day on the field trip. I too am the one to usually go on those things. Last year Kirk went to the ZOO with Jared's Kindergarten class. It was quite the day for him.
