Yup, we leave tomorrow. This will be our Once in a Lifetime GF trip. We even got the Cinderella breakfast!!! WOW! Never had a chance to do that one before. Tori will be dressed up as Cinderella again...at least at this moment that's what she wants. Could be Jasmine or Tinkerbell in another 1/2 hour!

Gee, I didn't know about the website linking problems. I'm so used to the Passporter boards that I never gave that a thought. I don't understand it, I would think they would want people to have a great experience for their trips and to get any recommendations or advice from fellow travelers. Gosh, I hope I don't get banned for that one!

Jen - just give me your address and you can see for yourself. But, I was going to go for Wednesday night as it seems like the best night for us too. Its the Master Chef night, though. This led me to be disapointed in the fact that they don't open earlier than 6 because I thought it would be very cool to be in there while pulling out of St. Thomas.

Thursday night is semi-formal night and Disney Dreams - its the night of the 70s dance party and the dessert buffet.

Suzie - you certainly won't get banned - if they were paying attention, the link may have been censored. That's all. It's OK.

I am so jealous - you are going to have such a lavious trip this go round. What did you wish you could do last week that you plan to do this week?

Hey to everyone! I always forget what I'm going to say to all of the posts when I try to do a reply. Not ignoring anyone (BTJ - this is crazy weather and I'm really cold today!!!) but I just have such a bad memory that after a while I forget about them or what I was going to say!

Been off my BL diet for the past few weeks. Just in a massive blah stage lately. Need the sun and warm weather to perk me up....I really do hate winter. So, even though I haven't gained anything, I'm not losing. I did a massive no-no and had Uncle Donald's for lunch today. That's McDonald's for all of you that don't have a three year old dictionary. I do feel yucky now and I need a nap - huge headache from the fries - too much salt! So, hopefully I will get back on track soon. Keep the pep talks coming.

Hello all, trying to get caught up here! Welcome to all the newbies. CG glad to hear you are in for the trip. Sorry I am way behind on the biggest loser posts. Could everyone just let me know how much you have lost since Jan. 1 the start of the second round of BL. and I will get those results up.

My life has been way to crazy lately. 1) Terrible toothache for 5 days, by day 3 couldn't eat at all and the pain medication made me sick to my stomach . The worst part I didn't lose a pound despite hardly eating for 3 days!!! I have to go for a double root canal next week. 2) Screwed up the checkbook 3) My van has been at the mechanice for a week and a half so we have been living with just one car. With both of us working and the kids activities it has not been easy. I finally got it back yesterday and on my way to work this morning the car dies a mile from work. (Of course it was snowing, cold and I wore high heels and a short skirt today!!!) One of my coworkers came and got me. Even though the gas gauge wasn't on empty decided to try putting gas in it. Another coworker took me to get gas for it. Well, it started, yea, gas gauge must be off. So I drive to the gas station, get gas and when I go inside to pay I LOCK MY KEYS IN THE VAN!! I had to call Kirk at work who had to go home to get his van keys and then come to the gas station!

The good news Meghan and Jared had amazing report cards , so I really don't feel bad about them missing school for 8 days for the trip

My loss so far....8.1, I'm on a roll. Weightwatchers and Curves is finally working.

I'm thinking Palo on Wednesday sounds just about right. Do they serve brunch every day or just the days we're at sea.

Whew...I finished booking all 14 of the plane rides today...Except for my son who will be returning from Europe on April 18. He still hasn't decided where his going after the cruise....maybe Australia. I also reserved the car rental for the week before the cruise. Don't know how we're all going to fit into a mini van. Maybe we need to have 2 of them, but thought we'd wing it for a day or so and see if we needed an additional car. Only thing left to do is arrange for transportation to the ship.

I have finally gotten serious about BL. I was gaining like there was no tomorrow for a week or so there due to stress - my husband drops weight at an amazing speed when he is stressed - I on the other hand, put it on faster than I ever have in my life. While I was stressing about the cruise I was drinking beer every night - one mind you - and that always does it to me. My pants weren't fitting and I was back in the whole sloppy dressing thing because I felt bad about myself. So, I cut waaay back on eating (and that nightly beer) over the last week and have leveled off. I am going to put myself at 0 loss. Pants are fitting again, and the scale seems to have gone back to normal - no weird magnetic spikes due to unexplained atmospheric forces (my little joke to myself to keep from freaking out). I have also been sick so yet another excuse for no gym time (anyone calculating how much lost revenue is going into this gym thing for me because its pretty sick). Catrina has pneumonia and I have bronchitis. No jogging for me this week.

mketting - That is one day from hell if I have ever heard of one! Holy COW! Man, that is stuff I usually do.

I just finished my BIG meeting and it went very well with my CEO - so it's the weekend for me!!!! Well, as soon as I finish my day at work - but but the big stuff is behind me.

FYI...I was just checking Expedia (not sure why??) and there are two SPH cabins available for 4/29 (5022 and 5024 - adjoining).

By the way STEVEMED just booked these rooms - so your tip paid off for someone on the DIS at least.

PartyPat - good question about the brunch - you know I ddin't look whether it was every day or just sea days. I will get back to you.

Formal Night tip- Our JCPenney is clearancing their tux shirt sets from Christmas. We got Kirk and my brother-in-law new white tux shirts with silver/black buttons and cufflinks for $8.99. (There were also suspenders and a grey bow tie with the set which he doesn't need since he has a black tie and cumberbun)

Hi everyone - I was in NYC this week, so I have not had much chance to check-in. I got back last night around 7:30 - my son was in a concert at school which also started at 7:30. Do you get the picture? I was flying through Cleveland to get there in time. He had a drum solo that I knew would be at the end of the concert. All of the stars aligned and I got there just as his group was being introduced.

I think I must have set some kind of record getting through the airport! I don't think that I knocked anyone over, but I wouldn't swear to it.

I'm confused -
According to the info. that DCL sent to me the date that we CC members can book Palo and excursions is the 29th. Wouldn't that be tomorrow night (or Sunday morning)?

I went on a Disney Cruise back in 1986 on the Big Red Boat, which was Premier Cruise Lines, but they won't honor that I was a past Disney Cruiser. Whats up with that ?

Hey Everyone.

A few anal questions! and some good news! The BL weigh in for the Metzler's(that's us!)......PJ down 5.2lbs for the month and HGP is down 8lbs for the month! BUT we are working our A$$es off!!!! We are both working out 6 days a week, 3 cardio days and 3 weight training days. And, I am so competitive that I was watching him on the treadmill today and he was running at 9.5mph and my fastest is usually 5.2....I cranked it up for a few minutes..... Anyway- We just don't want to embarass the dis on the beaches of the Caribbean wiht our wristbands on and stuff...we want to REPRESENT!!!

Our ressie is still showing BOOKED and not paid, but I just go off the phone wiht Patty and she has a fax from Disney saying we are paid so I do'nt know if we are going to be able to do our ressies tonight or not. Don't care really- we didn't get to do Palo last time either. And we know they won't turn the kids away from the club soooo my panties aren't in a bunch over it. PAT calls that the PIB club(panties in bunch)...My mom is the Queen of the PIB club!!! Anyway, if you have any suggestions or information let us know! We are here tonight-having wine and popcorn(the only thing we have points left for!)

The really good news is that Patty booked our Limo from the Airport, and our prenight hotel....the Hampton at the airport...cause we want a LONG A$$ limo ride complete with Mimosa's and what not! We got the Excursion Limo from Happy Limo which we had last time and it was awesome, but it was only 4 of us and it was WAY too big. And from Satellite Beach(which is like 10 miles from the pier) it was almost the same price than from the airport- hellooooo more drinking time!!!! This time it will be 8 of us and perfect.

Mermaid Patty and Mike and kids are flying from Syracuse and we are surprising all the kids with their layover in philly.....they will show up at the gate and the kids will see each other.....it will be priceless!!!!!

They are coming for our pre cruise planning weekend the weekend of Mike's birthday in March and I decided tonight after watching Sandra Lee....we are going to have a Luau!!!! In March!!!! It is going to be great!!!! We will certainly post pics! And I will show Patty how to get on to this site so she can make herself known!!!

Sue- The entire rest of my family that is going on the trip ( 16 of them) is from Pittsburgh. They all live in Beaver County. Of course the big news right now is the Steelers in the Super Bowl!!! I wish I was able to go home to my parents for the game but can't that weekend.

MK- WOW.. I am in Allegheny County.. 6 miles from Heinz field! Pep Rally yesterday was a mad house.

I just heard from my TA, (Mouse Ears Vacations), who happens to be in Disney World today, and she can not make my final payment until Monday!!! She tried this morning, and since I am part of a group, sha can not do it until Monday!!! So, I can not make any reservations tomorrow! I am so mad... She should send me a nice "magical treasure".. or an onboard credit !!!!! Nothing life shattering that I wanted to book, but it's the point of anticipation.. then poof, one more day to wait!

THAT STINKS!!!! I mean that truly stinks! The good news is that people have said that they have been able to get ressies throughout the day the day of their open date. Don't worry too much. Just think of us poor saps that have to wait until the 13th.

I think it was me, mketting, who started the whole Saturday night is the night thing. I thought it was too. I thought it was midnight, CST, on the date of the 29th - not thinking that midnight is still the 28th. DUHHHHH!

Off to use the shovel on the house and pick up those toys now! Some days I wish it was that easy.

JEN - you are my hero!

BUT, everyone, get this - I jogged this morning - yes, its true, brochial issues be damned. I JOGGED and I feel great about it!

CG Good for you! Doesn't it feel good? I was(maybe am-not sure if I can put myself in the "exerciser" category for good yet) so lazy. Then when you work out once, you feel great- don't know why you don't do it more. We went to work out this morning. We belong to our YMCA here- it is brand new and more like a wellness center than a traditional Y. We put the kids in the child watch for 1 hour- we both lifted and ran, we packed lunch and swam(as a family- nothing olympic....) Now we are home and exhausted-I am hungry and thirsty since it is 5"oclock somewhere!!! Just kidding. I will wait until 5 EST for my drink! We have to take Christmas decorations down since it is 60 Degrees out today!

I will keep my fingers crossed for all of you making ressies tonight. I will try-don't know if I will be able to or not. I know they don't release all the slots ahead of time, so I won't be devastated if I can't book now....it would just make embarkation day soooo much easier!

My husband and I are Castaway Club members from a cruise we went on before we were married. I was preparing for getting online tomorrow and saw someone else's post about their cruise showing booked and not paid even though it was. I decided to call in to confirm that DCL had ours as paid. The CM was very nice and confirmed that we were paid. She then said that the only person who could be booked for excursions, etc. was me as I was the only Castaway Club member. I explained that both my husband and mother were indeeed members as we had all gone on the same cruise before. She found it and corrected it but then said that my kids (5 and 3) would not be able to be registered for any excursions or kids clubs as they had not cruised before.

Is this true??? I would think that since my husband and I are both prior cruisers on DCL that we would certainly be able to register our kids. What's the point of registering for an excursion early if we can't include our kids?

Anyone know anything more on this? I guess I am a little disappointed as I was so excited to have everything taken care of tomorrow.
