Well I finally did some Christmas shopping , hopefully this time I won't give the presents to my girls early LOL . I purchased the Polor Express for Christmas but I really wanted to watch it with DH and the girls so it will never make it to the tree since we opened it . That goes for many gifts I have bought . I am better off shopping the day before I guess .

I picked it up this morning at 6 am from home - thanks Suzie!!!! Its is awesome. I actually like Mickey making sand angels the best out of everything! Now that is a cool gif!

OK - what God of sickness did I offend????? My son began puking last night at 8:30 and it continued on until 6 am. What have I done to deserve this????? He had his flu shot too.

Hi CG , I am so bad with the whole puking bit , I can't be around anyone doing that LOL , I always get sick myself when I see or here it . thank God my girls have only puked maybe twice since they were born !!!
The girls caught an aweful cough when we were on the ship , must have been the daycare because they were perfectly healthy before we left . Holly got it so bad she sounded like a different child , she didn't even sound like ours , she had the cutest voices ever with it thou , actually quieter .

Oh hey, by the way guys, I weighed myself this morning and I am down 4 pounds! I knew my pants were fitting better. I cut out some granola I was having every morning after I read its fat content and it seems to be working. I really loved that granola, though. I was totally addicted. One bag from BJ's would last me about a week, about 6 servings. Well, one day I decide to up and read the nutrition label - that damn little bag was supposed to be 15 servings! I figured maybe that was my problem why my pants weren't fitting. The problem now is that I was so enamored with the granola because without it I am ravenous by 10:30 am. So, here I sit, at 10:15 thinking about food and hearing my tumbly being all rumbly.

Castlegazer, I feel your pain with the whole puking thing! My middle daughter had it on Monday...obviously I kept her home from school...luckily the puke part was short lived because she was fine yesterday...but I kept her home anyway to rest for an additional day...sent her to school today and just got back from picking her up! Her teacher didn't think she looked good and thought she should be "home resting" for another day!!! Now I'm probably going to get the "BAD MOM" label from her teacher and the ladies in the office for sending a sick kid to school!!!

This is now the third day in a row that I have not been able to leave the house!!! And we are having a Christmas party on Saturday night for about 40 people (that is how many have RSVP'd so far)...I REALLY NEED TO GO TO THE GROCERY STORE!!!!!!!! Oh well, it is my own fault...that is what I get for having a few cocktails and then saying to Tom, "honey, we should have a Christmas party this year for all of our friends!"

And what about HGP...I thought I inspired him to write something witty to all of us!!! Suziemva...what does the "mva" stand for anyway? Actually was a sign-on that was given to me years ago on another board. Suzie Mattern of Virginia....couldn't be more creative, I guess. But, it has stuck and I use it most times so that I don't have to remember my sign-on. Kind of a blonde thing for me.......

Sorry I'm behind on the biggest loser posts, I'll give the latest results later.

Philly Jen-- I'm glad I'm not the only one with that laundry problem. I hate putting the laundry away and the same thing happens to us. I know it would be so much simpler to just keep up with it and fold/put away each load as it gets done but somehow that doesn't seem to happen all the time like it should.

Strep Throat is the illness floating around here. When I called my son's school on Monday morning to say he would be out with it the nurse said I was the 8th case of strep to call that morning. We are crossing our fingers none of the rest of us come down with it. When it comes to puking my kids always seem to do it at night in their Sleep!! What a mess! We've gone about 2 years now without any of that around here though.

If so did you see the Mickey pearl necklace ? I have to have it !!!! Also I am going to purchase the Bon Voyage decorations for the room , it even comes with a cake , the girls will love it !!! Just think I can start packing on the pounds as soon as we get to our room .

Hi Gang, wow, you guys are busy when I take a little few day break!

CG-Congrats on the 4lbs...

All: Sorry about the pukes!

The jewlery show was our best yet. We had it open house style from 1-6pm to make sure it was a slow and steady pace and we had time to spend with each of our customers. Would you believe that it was non-stop people for 5 hours.....I drank a lot of wine that day with each person who came over and wanted a glass. Who was I to be inhospitable.... I didn't sleep at all that night because I usually take an hour or so after a show to go over orders to make sure I got everything right, but I was so tired, I just went to bed(notice I didn't say to sleep). Needless to say- my little employee of mine and I have been busy little beavers lately. Unfortunately, we are up against a hard deadline-xmas....Usually 2 weeks for production and shipping isn't a problem, but 2 weeks from today is....da da da....Christmas... Thankfully, we just added our Dec 10th order deadline to the website! That way I will be able to enjoy the holidays.

Alright, time to send the girls to bed. We are expecting a snow day tomorrow. Remember that? WE didn't do homework or anything, that is how sure we are!!! But in Philadelphia- a snow day can occur after 1 inch of snow....

HGP is also very busy. He started a bar just before Thanksgiving. It started to go up really fast, but we got to the ceramic tile part and life just took over.

I am almost done Christmas shopping for the girls and thank God because my credit cards are a squealing !!!
I did get some of the Bitty baby outfits for our twins I must not have paid to much attention thou because after I checked out I saw the sleepers are back ordered till 3/6/06 , looks more like an Easter present now , I did major damaged once again at PBK . Holly wants so much to be a princess so I splurged and finally got her the canopy for her bed . Now I have to find something for McKenna my boy/girl . She is so hard to buy for but so far I got her a Chicken Little bat and glove set and some Chicken Little figures , Disney is having buy one toy get one free
DH and I are not exchanging this year figuring the big Disney trip is our present , so that makes it a little easier .

Yay! It's a snow day for us!!!! I said to my mom last night that snow days were so much more fun when I worked somewhere else, cause I got to stay home with the kids for once. Now, my work will just stare at me from my office and my kids will ransack the house....again! Arghhhh!

I can't believe it, we probably have about 5 inches of snow this morning. I know those of you from CNY and WNY are laughing at me(I know-I grew up there) but it is amazing how this town FREAKS about a few measly inches of snow. There are 490 school closings this morning and we are in the northern suburbs and got the bulk of the snow! Gotta love Philly! We are preparing to head north next weekend to Syr for my husbands family Xmas gathering. Thankfully for me, his family is huge(11 kids) and they are very realistic about getting together for the holidays. It is the weekend before or not at all which I love cause we spend Christmas with my family. And this year, it will be in Fredonia NY. We started the kids skiing last winter and my hubby took up Snowboarding(Yes Tom, you can now call him Extreme Head Gear Pat). I have skied my whole life so this is really exciting for me! I love taking the girls-they have NO fear! They love to ski up behind daddy, who is usually sitting on his butt or in some stage of falling or getting up, making sure he is ok. It is amazing how bothered they are that Daddy isn't great at something! HE loves it and he isn't a quitter- so onward with the snowboard!

Alright-here is where I get in trouble. My car didn't have any gas last weekend- literally dead in my driveway....I (genius me) decided to use the lawn mower gas... At least it was enough to get me to the corner.... Come to find out this morning, that was also the snowblower gas Ruh Roh Shaggy!
