Tom & Julie be eggstra careful on your drive!!! Have fun!!!!!

Hey, one of my regional managers was telling me that a new fish place, owned by a woman from the North Shoe above Boston, opened in the old Crab Heaven place on A1A, right near ABC liquors - he said it was very good food. Check it out while you're down there on your drive through and dinner at Grills for me and give me the skinny, K?

hmmmmm?????

Which came first the marble baggers/banana hammocks or the egg? Eggs gone bananas  (I think I only crack myself up)

Tom, keep that phone on! You never know if insomnia will kick in tonight for me or not! You may get a phone call! At least it's not a drunk phone call, right PJ?! Hey, where is she anyway? PJ! Where are you!!!!?????!!!!!

Say hi to BnC for us! Miss that place, but it will be soon enough for us to visit! This time, I think we will SHARE something! Ugh, all that icecream! Small amount, good; individual sundae, very bad!

Tori woke up this morning with a fever (100.5) so no school again today. She had a fit on Monday that she missed school. That child just LOVES playing with other kids! Not shy about meeting new friends, either. So NOT her mommy! So we are off to Target to get some snuffle medicine for her little nose and more bubblegum medicine for her fever. I love how she names her meds! This should be fun flying with a stuffy headed child. Any suggestions for relief non medicine on the plane? I've only thought of lollipops to suck on for pressure in the ears, but really don't want to sugar her up for a 5 hour flight.

At least it's really pretty outside right now. Don't forget the solar eclipse today! And don't look directly at it!!!!!!

Safe travels, Tuggle family! Miss you guys already!!

:lmao: :rotfl2:

Seriously, though, I hop she feels better. Benadryl is what everyone always suggests - get the dosing amount from her doc.

CG, now that is funny, Suzie not shy, it is almost as funny as your parents putting SHY in your name, tell me that is not funny.

Tom pirate:

Ah, but I knew you from the boards first before I met you! I am VERY shy!!! Hate going to parties where I don't know anyone and will NOT introduce myself first!!

Unfortunately, Tori and I both are allergic to Benadryl so none in our house. She breaks out in a little tiny red rash all over....learned that the hard way in a hotel in Norfolk, VA when my dad was in the hospital. Not fun.

Suzie, I got nothin else to suggest. We haven't flown with he kids sick YET. They also haven't been exposed to Benadryl so I have no idea if that would even work.

Tom...you can EGGSPECT me to pick up the slack while you are gone. 17lbs, You and I are going to look darn hot on this cruise. :cool1:

Suzie...Hope Tori is feeling better.

I wonder how much weight we have all lost together. Is it something like the size of a small Volkswagen?I think our cruise meet will look like the emmys with all of you skiny woman.Keep up the good work! :thumbsup2

Tom, I just realized that I had put in one of my last posts a huge congratulations to you for the 16 pounds and it isn't showing up now.

So here goes a new congrats!!! That is truly awesome!!!!!! Did you win?

Is she too young to drink? pirate:

Ok, ok. Here's the time-tested formula for traveling with children:
Subtract their age from your age
Multiply by number of children
Add 1 for every child seated in the surrounding 4 rows
Add 2 if any of them are under age 2
This is the number of drinks you should consume at the airport bar prior to boarding.

It won't help Tori's ears, but it will make you feel better. pirate: AAARRRR!!!

:surfweb: Oh, yes, Honey. THAT will work.
Hmm....it does explain why he is so jovial when we fly......

I will have to give that a try. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have a question, my son will be flying to Washington DC after the cruise. Should he fly into Dulles or Reagan airport?

And BTW, he's been in Greece for the last week and just landed in Rome after taking a 14 hour ferry from Greece. He slept on the floor as he didn't want to spend 60 Euro for a cabin. Oh, to be young again.

What are his plans when he flys to DC? It's usually cheaper to fly into Dulles and has more direct routes. But that isn't always 100% true. Depends on the airline is closer to reality. Is he flying back directly from the cruise or a few days later?

I prefer Reagan, but yeah, like Suzie said, the prices to fly in there are based on campaign expense accounts and are not normal - he should price it out and base his decision on price. Both get you where you want to be.

Thanks Suzie and CG. I booked him into Reagan. Got a great price from US Airways flying from Oakland to Orlando and then onto Washington DC.

Any ideas where he should stay?

AHHH, the sounds of warm weather.... All the kids in the neighborhood in my backyard, playing soccer and argueing. Drives me crazy.

Pat- Try priceline. I got a great hotel just last weekend, the Capitol Hilton, 2 blocks from teh white house for just $85/night and that was a 4 star.

Quiz of the Day:

1) What island group did President Hoover call an effective poorhouse?

2) For how much and in what year did the U.S. purchase the Virgin Islands? (hint, it's the same year that the Panama Canal opened up)

answers are in white so highlight the area below this and you will see them:

1) The U.S. Virgin Islands

2) $25 Million and the year was 1917
