Question for all, looking at doing another beach day in St. Thomas, we are thinking about Meaghans or Saphire and then again how to go about getting there and back, need some feedback.
CG, your check is being picked up by the Mail Carrier today, sorry it has taken so long, if you need more let me know. Also, we will be at the Ron Jon on Thursday and Friday night before the Cruise, but since we are flying we won't have a car, we could still take a Taxi over to Grills or wherever you think is appropriate (the Ron Jon is awesome just a thought).
OK - I have stuff to say, but I have to take a LMAO break here for a minute with the Lobstah night crack
OK - pulling myself back together again here.
Tom, Paul and took a taxi to Meghan's Bay last trip to St. Thomas - it's as easy as pie. You step off the ship and you are marauded by taxi drivers wanting to take you there. The cost is about $8 per person, I think. It's a bumpy, narrow, steep ride over there - but as is everywhere on St. Thomas. We personally did not like the beach - but it was a cloudy day and that may have affected our opinions - needless to say, we will be doing something different this go round.
I have been watching Saphire and it got hit with the Hurricane pretty badly - a lot of the beach erroded - BUT, the last report I have is from November. This is a beautiful beach and the beach club allows you to have a day pass which gives you towels, chairs, and a place to change. I haven't looked into it in a while since I have pretty much settled on our course of action for the day.
If you guys are interested, and I hadn't put this shout out to you because last I knew you were taking the ferry to St. John, rubysmom's family and we will be taking a taxi to Coki and Coral World. I don't remember if anyone else is coming too - I think that
ohso may have mentioned it once too.
This is tentative because who the hell knows what we really will be doing with a one year the day after St. Maarten and the Pirate Party and early immigration - for all I know we will be saddled up to the bar on the ship or at Mountain Top with her passed out in her stroller.

No need to apologize, Tom, I wasn't looking for the check. After all, I know a good knee breaker in Rhodie (Rhode Island for all you non eastcoasters).
I was going to ask you whether or not the whole flying in thing still held. So, yes, apparently it did. So, since it's probably just us around that night, we can come to you. (pending results of my assinine poll since I already knew it was just us) Tell me how it works - do we get passes to come into the resort? Um, can we float on the water being your guests??? I have always wanted to do that lazy river. Do they have a restaurant - should we bring in food?

I am totally willing to go pick up crabs and bring crabs and beer in for your big group
Speaking of which, since you don't have a car do you need me to do a packy run for you??? (you have to start learning the lingo if you
really want to be President of the fan club) Is there anything else I can get you guys in Cocoa Beach???
