Who else is sailing on 4/27/13 Western Fantasy cruise?? This will be our first "Gold" member cruise. DH & I in one stateroom, DD and DGS in another. Surely we're not the only "dis" members on this cruise

Hi Staceynj and Family!! Glad to see another dis'er onboard.
We have sailed 1 3-day(Wonder), and 4 4-day(2 Wonder & 2 Dream) cruises. Can't wait to do the 7 days.
How old are your sons? My DGS will be almost 6 by sailing date.

Hi there... We will be joining you as well. This will be our second Disney cruise (we have been back eight days now from a 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Magic); we loved it so much, we booked the Fantasy for late April! It will be me, my husband and our son (will be 4.5) and daughter (will be close to 6).

I'd like to get involved in the "fish extender" program... Does anyone know how that works?

Glad to see you're joining the cruise. I would imagine a FE will be set up, but with just 2 of us up to now, we haven't got started on that yet. I have been involved in a FE before, but not sure we'll be doing it this cruise.

I see we have another Pennsylvania family. How was the Fantasy? I'm looking forward to the "improvements" that they have implimented over what was on the Dream. The Adult district looks much more inviting on th Fantasy.

The Fantasy was wonderful! It was our first Disney cruise, so I can't compare it to their other ships, but we all really enjoyed it. The kids (ages 5 and 4), really enjoyed the Oceaneers Club, although we tried not to leave them in there for too long so they wouldn't get sick of it. Unfortunately there was so much going on we didn't really have a chance to take advantage of the nightclubs, although we did wander through a few of them during the daytime and they all looked really nice. Hopefully next time we'll have more time for them!

We just came back from the Fantasy Western on Saturday and booked it again, same room and all we had such a good time. DD, age 5 is already lookng forward to it!

WELCOME to our cruise!! DD and DGS will be with us in their own stateroom.
DGS will be 5 in June. He already wants me to help him make his countdown chain. I told him it would be much too long and we'll make one closer to the date.

Yes, I realize that we are booked on it, booked the trip while we where on the Fantasy last week we enjoyed it so much.

While I love the DIS boards, they sometimes get overwhelming. I've also created a Facebook group for our specific sailing. Disney Fantasy - April 27, 2013 Sailing.

On my cruise last week we found it was sometimes easier going through our FB group and now we all keep in touch and have shared pictures.

Glad to be sailing on this cruise... I'm going to be solo (room 9666, I believe), but my sister, her husband and my gorgeous niece will be on board as well (she's on this thread as Kaylad2006).

First time on ANY type of cruise, and so glad that it will be with them.

Welcome Richard! You and your extended family will have a great time! I am hoping someone volunteers for the Fish Extender exchange....if they don't I probably will, although I work long hours and would not be the best at this, we had a great time delivering gifts on our last cruise and my DD had so much fun both giving gifts and coming back to our cabin ever night to receive them!

DH & I will be n this cruise too. This will be our 4th cruise. One each on the Wonder, Magic, and Fantasy.

If people are interested in starting a FE group I will volunteer to run it. I have already lead one on the Magic trip. If anyone wants information on what a FE is, please check out the the sticky thread on DCL FAQ, and look for Fish Extenders.
