4/22/07 Whats going on at DL that its closing at 4 pm?

Hi all, does anybody know why DL is closing early on Sunday 4/22/07? According to the disney calendar at disneyland.com its due to a private special event. Some friends of mine think its the Pirate premiere and I told them thats not until May. Does anybody know???

The Pirates premiere isn't until May. I think this is something to do with another event. There was a thread about this a few weeks ago.

Thanks MaryJo, I knew the POTC 3 premiere isn't until next month but my friend kept on insisting so I figured might as well ask around. Thanks for the info

It's a private event for the travel agent convention that is in town. I know as I will be there that day as well....

Pirates premiere is May 19, as I plan to be there then also...

Yeah me too. Especially since Disneyland opens that Saturday at 6am!

Really? I am thrilled. We get up early anyway and I am sure that most people won't be in the park that early, so we will have lots of time to ride without hordes of people. I also think that it will curtail the people who might have planned to use the 2fers that weekend.
