Snow is killing my excitment!!! :sad2: I am sitting here watching high winds whipping snow that just doesn't want to stop :scared1: The girls are bored and even telling them that we are on count down :hourglass to the cruise is not cheering them up. Make it stop, make it stop I want to get back to my happy place filled with pixie dust dreams:tinker:. I think I will go make another list of what to pack.......

:mickeybar

It's autumn in Sydney. Today its 29 degrees celcius and humid. I guess this is about what we can expect in Florida. I can't imagine what its like to live where it snows.
I'm seriously thinking about what we need to pack. We went shopping today and bought an extra suitcase that should be empty when we leave and full when we get back. :rotfl: We do have 2 weeks in WDW after the cruise to fill it up.:rotfl2:
It's getting very close now!

:cool1: YAY!!! I got my flight info today. Now I can be happy:yay:

I live in NY,and yes its snowing like crazy. I cant wait to be in the warm sun:cutie:

That must be a relief! Did you get your stateroom number?

We now have over a foot of snow, and it's starting to sleet as well. It's a mess outside. I feel sorry for the people who were supposed to fly out today and tomorrow.:sad2: All the airports are closed. It better not snow in April!!!!:scared1:

Wow Cathy, 2 weeks in WDW! That will be great! Where are you staying?

Hi Judy,

We have 11 nights at CBR and 4 nights at BCR. My husband and I can't wait to return to CBR. It's been a long 12 years since our last visit. It was so beautiful and romantic. We have wonderful memories of the resort and now want to share it with our kids.
We added the Beach Club so we could try something new and enjoy the convenience of being so close to Epcot.

We ended up with 12 inches of snow here in Tyngsboro, MA. :faint: There better not be any storms the week we leave for the cruise or I will cry!!:sad1: :sad1:

Aussiefan, have you ever seen snow?

That sounds wonderful!:goodvibes You will all have a fabulous time. It will be nice to have the time to see everything and not rush around. We only have 2 nights at OKW, so we have to pick and choose what we do. We never stay for less than a week, so it will be interesting. It's been 5 years since we last visited WDW, so I'm sure there are so many new things to see! Do any of you have recommendations for new things not to miss? When the kids were little, we went nearly every year. I miss it.

OK, who ordered the snow???? We need to tinkle them silly!!!!
We live in Lunenburg, MA and we are done with the snow. My husband is out there now shoveling.

Is it time to leave for FLA yet??

Bristol Ct. hear we got around 8 to 10 inches of snow/sleet. No doubt the toughtest clean up in my twenty years of home ownership. Florida can't come soon enough!

Judy,

We went to WDW last year. Don't miss the new Soarin' ride at Epcot! It is spectacular. The new Expedition Everest wasn't open yet but I hear it is awesome!

I completely agree about Soarin'. However, plan to get there fairly early to get through the line in a reasonable amount of time, or just to get a decent Fast Pass time. That is one VERY popular ride!!

As for the snow...... we got about 10 inches then about 2 - 3 inches of sleet on top of the snow. Thankfully, our plow guy came last night and then again this morning. I did have to do some "clean up" with the snowblower, and it was getting pretty bogged down. My DW started looking at the menus and recent Navigators this morning, so that made us both feel a little better.

Four weeks from yesterday we leave for Florida....... :yay:

Hey Everyone,:flower3:
Has anyone been to our California Adventure's Soaring? This will be our
very first time to WDW, and I'm wondering if it's exactly the same or not.
We will only be at WDW for 4 days, so if it's still Spring Break/Easter
madness and too crowded to do many of the favorites, I want to do what
we don't have here in California. We've done Disneyland a billion/k'zillion
times, and California Adventure twice a year since they opened.

Let me know (for those of you who have done the California thing) which
is the very same rides, so we can experience all the new things you all
have out there!!

Oh, and it's a cool 75 degrees today (no humidity).....had to get my
green light jacket for St. Paddy's day:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Ok.....29 more days:banana:

I haven't been to DL in years.:sad2: California Adventure wasn't built when we were there last.

I picked up Birnbaum's WDW book since the one I have is so old. I told DD to highlight everything she can't miss since we have such a short time to enjoy the parks. That way we can decide which parks to visit. We'll definately plan to try Soarin'!:cheer2:

I also found out that the Magic Kingdom closes early on April 20th and 21st for Grad Night 2007. They close at 7 PM to set the park up for high school senoirs.:sad1: They have a party for them from 10 PM - 4 AM! Of course, being a HS senior, DD and her friend want to go on Friday night.:scared1: A few of their favorite bands will be performing. I called to find out about it and they can attend for a fee, of course, and must have a chaperone since it is mostly school groups. They also have a separate Blast Off party from 8 - 10 PM for an extra fee! The girls are trying to convince DD's friends dad to take them. I will be too exhausted to stay all night!:rotfl2:

Do you know if the other parks will close early as well for Grad night?
MK is closing early on the 20th/21st.....we were planning on going on Sunday the 22nd. Epcot on the 20th, AK on the 21st...I sure hope they don't close
early......if you have any more info on these dates, please let us know.
Thanks,
ada

It's only MK, but it's the 20th, 21st, 27th & 28th. There is also a Blast Off party at AK from 7 - 9 PM, but I think the park closes by then.

I just came accross this by accident on the web site. I thought that during Spring Break week, MK was open until 11 on Friday's & Saturday's. I never heard of Grad Night before.

Here is a link to the WDW park hours: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...alendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage&date=20070401

You can get all the parks hours as well as anything else in the World at this site.:goodvibes

Ada,
We've been to Soarin in CA, but still can't help you because we haven't done the one at WDW yet. We were last at WDW in 2005 when Soarin opened but we just couldn't handled the long lines. My advice would be spend most of your time in Epcot since that's one park that is very unique. Plus Epcot is doing Flower & Garden festival, the whole place will be gorgeous!

Judy, thanks for the information on Grad night, have to include that into the plan.

Still no stateroom assignment yet :sad1:

Sue

Still can't find the lime green rubber bracelets at Wal-Mart...anyone else where I might find them?

Thanks,
