4/15/2007 Anyone?

I was able to get some great stuff for my daughters to wear on pirate night at Target. They had stuff in the dollar bin, including tatoos.

I don't think any of us will be dressing up for pirate night. DH doesn't do the dress up thing. I'm not sure about DD. If her friend wants to dress up, she just might get into it. Our last trip on the Magic was before the big pirate thing; it was tropical night, but some people were wearing pirate attire.:confused3 On that trip DD wore a tropical sun dress and they gave out lei's in the dining rooms. DH did wear a Hawaiian shirt that night, but since it wasn't a costume, he was okay.

We've also booked a morning parasailing at CC. I won't be parasailing...does anyone know if I can go on the boat to take pictures or do I stay on shore?

I don't believe you can go on the boat to take pictures. It's really fun, not scary at all, should consider it.

I dont think we will dress up for pirate night, but I know my girls will be semi dressed up:)

I would love to try parasailing with my 9yr old daughter. Would they let us go together?

Kedz,
Acutally a child must ride with an adult. I did parasailing with my DD when she was 9 and loved it. you ride tandam and it feels really secured. Don't forget to bring a waterproof camera, actually bring two, leave one with someone on the boat and ask him/her to take pictures of you and DD and bring one up with you to take pictures from the air.

Formal night doesn't exist on a smeck vacation. Short sleeve shirt and dockers is about as formal I get. Tough to the formal snobs.

Smeck,

How much does the parasailing cost? My DD (9) and I might try it as well!

We are torn about Palo for the same reason. We know it's a great meal/atmosphere, but DH would have to bring a jacket and I would need to bring a dress and dressy shoes. All for one dinner...still undecided.

Anyone booked a Snorkle excusion in Nassau? I had planned on doing the Rose Island but that has been cancelled. Looking for other alternatives.

It is so worth dressing up. It is a wonderful evening!:goodvibes

It's so not worth it for me to dress up. The other rest. are fine and included with your cruise fare. For me to dress up on vacation would take a act from God. In conclusion lets see, save $20 and not drag another change of clothes no brainer.

Well, we checked another task off the pre trip task list. Called Member Services yesterday and booked Thursday and Friday nights in a Saratoga Springs studio for after the cruise. :yay:

For those of you have cruised before...what do we need to keep everything together for the bathroom? I've heard a shoe organizer, but does the bathroom door have a hook to hold it?

KTTW - does it have a hole so we can put a clip on it?

The cruise is coming quick...can't wait! We'll be staying at Windsor Hills for a few days afterwards. Can't decide what parks to go to????

I always use the shoe holder. I actually remember putting it on a hook in the room. I used a ribbon to hang it. I've also put it over the bathroom door on some cruises. I put everything in it - toiletries, sunscreen, KTTW cards and lanyards when in the room, etc... We put our KTTW cards in a plastic case on a lanyard that we bought at Walmart a few years ago.

I can't believe the cruise is getting so close!  We also can't decide which parks to go to. We haven't been to WDW in 5 years!
