I ran up and down the stairs doing :laundy: again today.. which reminds me.. better go turn the dryer back on because I won't leave it running (even though it shuts off when done) when I leave the house...

oh, and I smell dinner too.. better make sure it's not burning..
 
I totally blew my calories for today. Spending the whole day at the book fair, with snacks around me. Well, I had cookie, a soda, a deli sandwhich and then dinner was the pasta from Pizza Hut. I did walk two miles (straight) which should help some, but I'm not expecting any big changes come Monday's weigh in.

I just got back from weigh in.........I lost 4.2 pounds, BABY!!!!!

10.4 to go before summer, totally doable if I just keep moving and watch what I eat:).

Today was only 1 mile. The cold wind made it very unpleasant to be outside. Hoping to do better tomorrow, calorie & walking.
 
Yep, I paced at the soccer games because it was so cold.. does that count?? otherwise today was very unproductive so I'll have to do double duty tomorrow.. especially because on Monday we add another step to our program for toning.. I'll post it tomorrow.. but you still have to do the steam engines that little bit makes fun of!!!
 
You mean we have to do TWO things??
Better go get my magazine out and see what it is and if it is even something I CAN do. :rotfl2:
 
I'm here and starting fresh Sunday morning. Going on vacation 1 week into a new diet, yeah not a good idea! Tomorrow I need to go food shopping and gut the fridge and pantry. I need to read over my notes for low point snacks.

One of the most challenging times I ever had was in November, 2004. I hit my goal weight at WW on November 4, and we left for 8 days at WDW on November 5th!!! Thank goodness there was a gym at the hotel:).
 
I always lose weight at WDW, between the average 7 miles a day I log walking (did 12 at Epcot once), carrying the kids (lifting weights) and eating better (not snacking and splitting meals) WDW is super easy!

It's the sitting at home doing nothing that gets me.

But today is a new day!
 
Ok, here is Week 2.. we add on sculpting the thighs and butt still working on the belly!!!! New items are BOLDED

Walk 5 minutes to warm up
do 15 steam engines on each side (last week's exercise de'jour)
Do 15 BENCH Squats: Stand about a foot in front of a bench, facing out. Feet hip-width apart, hands on your hips, slowly bend your knees, squatting down until your rear just barely touches the bench, stand up.. Repeat..
Walk 5 minutes
Do 15 SIDE Legs on each side: Stand up straight w/ one foot on a curb or step and the other hanging freely to the side. You may use a tree or rail to maintain balance. Slowly lift and lower your free hanging leg about 2-3 feet, keep your hips square. Do 15 reps and switch legs.
Walk 5 minutes
Do 15 steam engines
Do 15 bench squats
Walk 5 minutes
Do reed bends for 1 minute

Total Toning time: 35 minutes
 
I am going to look like such a dork. Hope I don't find any poison ivy when I use the trees around my property, to balance with, not mark my territory. :rotfl2:

I did do two miles at once again today. It got rid of my headache, but now my legs ache. :confused3 Not sure which one is the lesser of the two evils.
 
I sit quietly unless of course it was a good play or my kid messed up... so I didn't have to pace..but I don't think I could have because my head was pounding.. came home and ate a snack and felt better.. would have gotten a snack at the field but they didn't open concessions which they are suppose to do.. :(
