Since Kim is entertaining company today :teeth:, I thought I would go ahead and start the thread. Mainly because I'll forget what I ate if I don't. ;)


Weigh in day - 121.4 lbs. Loss of 2 pounds. But that rate won't stay the same. I totally did not eat enough last week and I don't want to get run down & sick. Hoping to maintain that weight this week.


4/14 Food Journal
Breakfast - Special K Bliss 90 calories, Coffee 25 calories
Snack - 3 pretzel rods 160 calories, Lipton Raspbery tea 130 calories
Lunch - salad 255 calories, rest of tea from above
Snack - 6 celery sticks & peanut butter 70 calories
Dinner - salad 255 calories, water
Snack - pretzel rod 55 calories

Total - 1265

4/15 Food Journal
Breakfast - Granola bar 150 calories, Coffee 15 calories
Lunch - Subway BMT 450, oatmeal raisin cookie 200
snack - piece of Mrs See's candy 90
Dinner - 2 slices of potato bread (no HFCS) 110 calories, hard boiled egg sliced 74 calories, part of FUZE 5 calories
snack - bowl of cereal (measured the 3/4 cups this time) 1/2 cup of mile 185 calories

Total - 1279

Food Journal 4/16
Breakfast - Special K bliss bar 90 calories, coffee 35 calories
Snack - some chips 90 calories
Lunch - Steak-n-Shake Grilled Chicken no bun 91 calores (no bun saved 150 calories :woohoo:) iced tea 0 calories
snack - Mrs See's chocolate 90 calories
Dinner - Salad +crasins 300 calories water {I can feel that I haven't had enough calories today. I am sooo cranky. I'll need to eat an extra good breakfast tomorrow to get myself back on track}
Snack - bottle of soda 180 calories

Yes, DD#2 being home from school sick cramps my style...but I'm a SAHM so when days like this come up, it's not too big a deal. My biggest problem for today is no workout. As long as she goes to school tomorrow, I'll still be OK for weigh in on Thursday. Speaking of weigh in, good job, AWM!!! I can only hope I have a similar result!

I cut my points back to 22 from 23, starting today. I'm knocking off 1 point/week until I get down to 20 points and then I'll stay there.

Breakfast: oatmeal with banana (3)
Lunch: 2 veg burgers on lite wheat with one laughing cow (5)
Snack: 3 WW 1 point bars (3)

So, at 2:45 I have used half my points for the day. Not bad. Dinner will be pork chop and corn (7) and I'll have some popcorn (1) and cheddar crisps (3) if I want snacks.

Tomorrow I will do The Biggest Loser Cardio Max (all 3 levels) and level one of the Power Sculpt. That will total about an hour or so of workout, then 10 minutes of warm up/cool down.

Are you really gonna only eat chex mix for dinner? That don't sound so healthy. I don't want you getting sick!
Are you taking your vitamins or drinking fortified water or mixes?

I really like you, but I am not coming over to take of your children if you get sick. They would be so tramatized that the therapy bills would bankrupt you. :rotfl2:

picked up a copy of First today and thumbed through it.

I plan on starting the toning in the AM.

I will take it with me to read in MD offices tomorrow.

I have not snacked today. Yeah me. I have had 32 oz of water so far. I will have another at dinner.

I haven't weighed since last week - Will do in AM>

You made me feel so bad, I had a salad again for lunch instead of the leftover Pizza Hut Pasta Primavera with Chicken.

Your dinner sounds way better. ;)

I did walk my mile & half. I did those weird knee to elbow things. I mortified my little bit. He stares at me and wants to know WHAT I am doing and did I know that I could stop THAT now. I did the second set on the back porch and then walked the rest on my treadmill. That reed bending thing, I felt it in my sides more than I thought I would. Guess I am totally out of shape.
 
Yep, that is why I go to the basement and tell the kids to STAY AWAY!!!
Yep, those reed bends kicked my butt!!! OMG!

I used my stepper instead of walking because the tundra rolled into town today...and suppose to tomorrow but the rest of the week is suppose to hit 70.... so I'll walk..run downstairs do the other exercises.. than walk the block.. and so on.. (isn't it bad we are doing hidden exercises! LOL)
 
I've walked a mile and a half. I've done those silly steam things. My eldest and my DH think I'm crazy. But then my eldest did some jumping jacks so he could do strange exercises too. He walked a mile with me. Little bit walked the 1/2 mile.
 
Way to get the boys involved..

DD came down and laughed at me while I was walking/exercising the steam engines today... and you know what.. while she was out doing her community service at the park today for school.. She was invited w/ several other kids in the school to go down and help community leaders and some members of the NBA basketball organization in Indy to clean up the park.. FREE day from school.. no way she was passing that up.. and than she gets a FREE day on Thursday because she was one of 30 kids accepted via an Essay to go to the Children's Museum for a genetics workshop and she gets to extract DNA and learn all about that.. HOW cOOL is that?
Anyway, the snot laughed at me.. so I really got a laugh when she came home w/ a bit of sunburn on her face today from working...and the fact that her arms/legs hurt from the hard work...

I plan on working out tomorrow in the AM too because it worked out better for me than squeezing it in in the middle of the day!!!
 
I'm down another 3 lbs. DH is jealous :lmao: I'm looking at you guys starting weights and they are actually lower than my goal :sad2: and I'm way away from that...

OK...staying strong, we all start at different spots...

But what is your height and general shape? Weight isn't the end all. I may weigh less, but I bet I'm in worse overall shape than the rest of you. I see you all walking 3, 4, 5 miles in ONE day. I am nowhere near that. That st*p*d DVD, it's killing me. I need to go see what my scale says my BMI is. That is the number I need to really reduce in the long run.

Congratulations on sticking with it, everyone! Tomorrow is my weigh in day, so I just did my "last chance workout". I ran while I watched the Biggest Loser finale and I finished a 10K (6.2 miles). I haven't worked out the past 2 days with DD#2 being home sick, so I have NO idea what tomorrow will bring on the scale....I'm hoping for a pound a week between now and August 13 (my arrival day in FL) but I don't know if that will happen this week.

Target points: 22
Breakfast: banana, oatmeal (3)
Lunch: WW ravioli (5)
Dinner: Shrimp and diced tomatoes over pasta (6)
Snacks: Special K bliss bar (2), yogurt with fresh strawberries (4), 2 unknown

I have to shower and get to the store.....I'll post the rest of my food when I figure it out.....I'm thinking low sodium so I don't retain water:).
 
I wimped out this morning and didn't go to weigh in, but I did get on a friend's Weight Watchers scale this afternoon. If it's accurate, I'm down about 1.5 pounds from last week. I am going to go to WW on Saturday morning before I even have my morning coffee to see where I stand.

BFF and I power walked about 3 miles today, and I did a half hour of the power sculpt video. I decided to cut my points back to 20 and force myself to stick with that.....it's almost shorts weather and I can't wear mine....and I'll be darned if I'm buying bigger clothes!

I did 1/2 mile... but only because the neighbor let his darn dog out that looks like a pit bull and my DD is terrified of it.. I let him have another ear ful in regards to the darn dog running lose in the neighborhood terrifing kids...

I made it through yesterday on 20 points, and today looks like it will be another success:). I've had dinner and I have 2 points left for snacking, but I am getting up at 6:00 tomorrow to go to 7:00 weigh in, so if I get to bed early, I may not eat those points. I ran on the treadmill at an incline for 40 minutes today, and I did 70 minutes (30 then 40 later) of raking and carting leaves to the "leaf dumping" area of the yard:). I'll post tomorrow when I get home, good news or bad:).
