Hello All this our fourth trip on disney cruise Line can NOT wait to see the Fantasy.... I hear its going to be beautiful...
Does anyone Know how to join a fish extenders We have 3 children and they love seeing these on the ship and want to join... I already am ordering an extender sooo I am hoping someone can Help..

Disney Cruise Line has revealed that Dumbo will be the character dangling (well, flying in this case) from the stern of the Disney Fantasy, the line's fourth ship, which is currently under construction. The sculpture features Dumbo holding a can of yellow paint and Timothy Mouse, in Dumbo's cap, wielding a paintbrush. Dumbo and Timothy join Boatswain Goofy (Disney Magic), Donald Duck and Huey (Disney Wonder) and Sorcerer Mickey plus brooms (Disney Dream) in this role. All are portrayed painting the ship's name on its stern.

So I know there are lots of people from Ma on this cruise as it is our school vacation week. But does everyone have an extra long vacation ? our kids get out Wednesday instead of Friday think we may take a few extra days... still wait for southwest to try an book..

No, only the week for us. Still waiting on SW to book our outbound flight. Booked w/Jetblue on the 22nd to come home. Will probably keep the kids home on the Friday (13th) depending on what time our flight out ends up being. Hoping for Fri night, but we'll see. I took the Fri off & the Mon after we come back off. Need time to get out of my depression of not being on the ship anymore before heading back to work

Nope, but that does not stop us form yanking all my kids (except my oldest who is at UMass Amherst) out of school early (even taking one of my oldest daughters girlfriends). I am planning a big celebration for this trip as it is a special Birthday for me!

Here in VT we get just the week. But, we are driving to CT on Thursday night so the kids will miss school on Friday.

Are your kids in catholic school? Ours are and our principal told us that there is a teacher conference those 3 days and that all the catholic schools in the archdiocese of boston have decided to close those three days, EXCEPT FOR OUR SCHOOL!! We spoke to her and asked for at least one day off, and she told us -no way, she does not want to extend the school year!

I just figured this out. It will be exactly 6 months until our Fantasy trip when we are in the middle of our October Dream trip. Can't wait for both.

Well Airtran released fares & they have nonstop from Bos for $150. Hoping Southwest will have similar fares tomorrow, since they are technically "merged" now. Crossing my fingers.

Southwest open flights this morning, they have some pretty good prices for April vacation, we got 212.00 RT. Leaving a few days early on Wednesday as we are going to Lego Land and flying home Saturday night after the cruise. Hartford-Orlando.

We will be leaving out of Hartford as well. Are you on the 6:30 flight home on Saturday?
I am going to look into a day room at the Hyatt at the airport.
Eventhough we could literally walk to the PVD airport, we will be making the two hour trek to Hartford. The flights out of PVD were absolutely outrageous!!

We are on the 6:30 flight home on Saturday, we rented a car and will probably go to DTD for few hours. I checked PVD and they were much more, we are kind of equal to either airport so it doesn't matter we usually find cheaper flights out of PVD, but not this time. Are you booked on the 6:30?

Yes, we are. We just stayed at the Hyatt for one night before our flight home last week. It was very nice, with a very nice pool. I'm going to call, I think we can have a room until 6 (obviously we won't need it that late) for $89.00. It will be a long day, we'll have a two hour ride home from Hartford. A nap, swim and shower will be the plan for the day.

That is a good deal. We live a little over 1 hour from Hartford, so I am hoping DTD will make them tired and they will nap on the plane! Not sure that will happen but wishing.

We are also booked on Southwest out of Bradley. We preferred BOS or PVD but the price was SO much higher. I did just check and the aggressive fares we saw first thing this morning are almost gone. We are taking the Friday evening flight (7pm) and staying over at the Hyatt as well. SOOOO happy that the flight is no longer an issue.
