So, tell me some scary stories...
I was just looking around on the DCL website for our cruise, and noticed that, just this afternoon categories 6, 7, 8, and 9 went from lots of rooms available to GTY status. That may mean they have begun the stateroom shuffle, and those with GTY status may get their assignments before too long, don't you think?
QOTD: Will you partake of the Drink of the Day?
This is a non-alcoholic lava slide - strawberries in pina colada base -
from Kimo's on Front Street in Lahaina, Maui
I am loving this show!!!!
Are you rooting for anyone in particular?
When in Hawaii, check out the fabric section of Wal-Mart. All the islands' stores have a great selection of tropical prints.
When I saw the lime green material, I had to have it.
DCL is sending the people at Port Canaveral today to Epcot!
From Disney
"Due to unfavorable weather conditions in the Bahamas, the arrival of the Disney Magic into Port Canaveral has been delayed today. We now anticipate beginning boarding of today's voyage later this evening.
We realize this delay in check-in and boarding is disappointing to you, and hope you understand these current weather conditions could not be helped.
We have arranged complimentary Theme Park admission at Epcot today for our embarking passengers. We invite you to visit the Disney Cruise Line Hospitality Desk at Epcot to receive admission tickets and meal gift card.
We sincerely regret the delay and appreciate your patience. Please call 1-800-939-2784 after 1 p.m. this afternoon for further updates."

Where to begin?!?!?!?!
Ok we had to be at topsiders around 4:30 AM. The breakfast was not a full breakfast by any means. It was our first cruise so I had no idea what a normal morning was like so that was fine with us.
We get into the terminal and the bags are a MESS. Literraly NO organization to them at all. It was just a SEA of bags.
There were hardly any porters and even when you saw one they were already taken by someone else.
We had to drag all of our bags to the buses ourselves. We paid for DCL transfers so we were hoping that more assistance would have been given for our $130 ride to the airport.
We were a party of 5. There were about 6-8 buses outside that were just a free for all. We would walk up to a bus dragging all of our stuff and they would say...we could fit 2 of you and the next one we could fit 3 of you, etc. We were traveling with a 2yo and a disabled grandma so spliting up was not really an option.
Finally we get on a bus and everyone on the bus is starring at us not wanting to move or even make any room for us to sit down.
We then get dropped off at the Barcelona airport REALLY far from the terminal. FAR is kind of an understatement. There was NO ONE to help with the bags and no carts to use. So DH and I, have to take multiple trips back and forth trying to get all our luggage, our DD's and grandma to the actual terminal. We get to the terminal for a REALLY LONG check in line. All the lines were like that. Securtiy was not much of an issue it was the airlines lines that were so bad.
They were there with there bathroom scale weighing everyone's bags as we stood in the long line.
We then made it to our gate only to find out we had to be bused to the actual plane.
I have tried to block out the bad memories...but that was the morning in a nut shell. If we were not with my mom and the girls and all of our luggage things would have been better. I still however would have been very disappointed in how DCL treated people who bought air through them.
...So there's no luggage tag program that will take care of getting our bags checked in at Barcelona, like Magic Express does?? I was hoping we could leave our bags outside of our cabin and then not have to worry about them again until we got to London. Our bags are going to be tough because we have so many people and so much to keep track of!
I thought we were at 8 weeks![]()
You betcha!Excited to see you soon...we need to organize details with Cheri via PM!
Years ago, we belonged to a Disney enthusiasts club. One member shared too openly about his vacation plans.. . . There have been unfortunate instances by now of vacationers returning to a stripped down house because they divulged their vacation plans online.

Krisann,Instead of going to London we are going to Paris. Promised the kids Disneyland Paris. Anyone been before?
We've stayed there twice -- one week each time -- and loved it.We were in Paris as a family in 2007 . . .
Ok we have now booked a room at the Marriott.
. . . Now have you actually stayed at this hotel or just know about it? I have some other questions if you have stayed . . .

Calling it a "room" is an understatement.
It's a complete villa with two bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, full kitchen (refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher), laundry room, dining room, and living room.

My family and I decided to book the transatlantic cruise today. I am so excited!! I am wondering how/where do I sign up for the lanyards, meet and greets and the Secret Mickey?
Thanks so much!
Tammy
Well... guns, gangs, schioprenic customers, same sex gone wrong, peeing in public, children left unattended, illegal exposures, teens in same bathroom, snakes, maggots, staff being hit, drugs buys.... and this is just some of the stuff.
Details can be given on the ship.
