Brooklyn, our DS LOVED Kim Possible at EPCOT, but we love AK, too. IMHO, you cannot go wrong with an extra day in the parks!!!

Re: Flying out the next day... We are doing that and staying at the Renaissance near the airport (I think -- DH made that reservation...)

-- Adrienne, still way behind on this thread and catching up slowly, so it seems like one page read, 5 more added...

There are 6 of us splitting a cab in Gibraltar for a tour on our own. I started out organizing it and I think the cabs carry a max of 8 people, so if you guys want to join us you'll complete our merry band. If you have mobility issues, there is another group doing the same thing at a different pace, but I forget who's organizing that one. Let me know if you need the other group's organizer and I'm sure I can dig it up. It might even be my buddy Linda :)

PM me :thumbsup2

I'm the organizer for the other group just in case the info is needed. I also want to rename it to the "taking it slow" group. :goodvibes

I like it! I was always worried I was offending someone (without meaning too!) when referring to groups with and without mobility challenges. Your name rocks!

Now we need a catchy name for our group! Yvett?

--- So long as it does NOT clash with PHILLIES red and blue, we should be okay! On the other hand ... I am quite certain Philly locals (and Stephanie) will LOVE MY FE! :lovestruc Stephanie, please keep it secret!

I am keeping both of your secrets! :rotfl2:

Lightweight unwrinkeable shirts? Where? Where?

Kristi

Well..the reason they are unwrikleable is that they are wrinkled by design...they are called Origami Shirts by the Magic scarf Co. I bought them local (Lititz PA) but here is the website www.magicscarf.com ... I like the wrinkled ones and the origami shirts but the "popcorn" ones made me look like a puffer fish  The feel of them and the look is really cool :)

The cost per shirt was reasonable too Happy Shopping!

--If you ARE on SouthWest out of Philly (7:15PM / Friday) ... watch for us in the terminal. I typically wear my red Disney Vacation Club baseball cap ... and look like the guy in my avatar pic. If you avoid (er, uh, MISS) us in the terminal, we are usually one of the first to board any SouthWest flight, and typically sit in the first row, whenever possible.

.

Awesome I will look for you guys...My son and I look like our pic....except he is another inch taller and I am 15 lbs smaller :woohoo: ! We are both blond and frecked. We got the early check in thing..so we should be boarding early as well ... Will give you my attire plans as we get closer ....see ya in philly!

DEE! do you have Crochet experience? I'd like to practice some onboard..... or are you strictly a knitter?

WOW! Lots of tri staters on this cruise. We should all post something on our cabin doors to identify ourselves!

We are in DE, you know that itty bitty place of tax free shopping everyone enjoys so much that we stole from William Penn? :rotfl:

I work in Wilmington, Delaware!!

Kim

TRANSPORTATION...Kim (Delaware City) didn't you say you booked Disney air transpo? So did I. Maybe we'll be on the the same flights.

That would be fun! I'm anxious to find out what time/flight we're going to get. The only good thing about a really early flight is that there is less chance of a delay....not at the mercy of all the other flight delays throughout the day!!

Looking forward to meeting you!

We're also planning on only doing the cable car/tobaggan run in Madeira. :cool1: I understand that the tobaggan only brings you about 1/2 way down, so I guess we'll take a taxi back to port from that point. Also does anybody know if the place where we catch the cable car to go up the mountain is in walking distance from the port or will we have to take a taxi?

OK, guys. What's the RainForest and what does the pass get you?

Might be interested in a relaxed pace excursion just about anywhere. Daniel's taxi in Funchai is 95 euros ($133 at today's exchange rate) for a four-person, 4.5 hour private tour. They have several bookings from our ship and most will be ending at Flower Festival events. Disney's 4 to 4.5 excursion costs $35. I'm torn.

---I figured we were talking about different shirts. I looked at the website, then KNEW we were talking about different shirts. Macy's had men's dress shirt touted as wrinkle free. I've seen this at a few retailers, but had no interest, as I do not iron. On the other hand, DW walked right past them as well, as she sends shirts to the cleaners! :lmao:

<<Lititz>> Have you ever been to Greco's Homeade Ice Cream & Italian Ice ... across the street from Wilbur Chocolate (in the back / left of the parking lot)? They have a store in Ephrata, as well as a kiosk in Tanger Outlets / Lancaster. I sold the owners a few homes ... and they've become best friends (FAMILY) ... but that has nothing to do with buying houses from me.

<<NEW THREAD>> Okay, we're on page 105 ... who's thinking we're going to hit 200 pages BEFORE the end of the cruise? When Lynne gets back from her hardship tour, I'm going to ask if she can wave a Tinkerbell wand to make the poll go away from the top of each page (assuming we dont need it anymore). Hopefully, that will buy us enough space to keep us from creating a whole new thread again! Either that, or DCL is going to have to move up the date of the cruise!

The poll can go away - but that will not help the thread issue. When you get to 250 pages they close it and you start a new thread. Our PC WB cruise is still talking and we are up to thread 16 I believe.

And no they can not make the cruise come any quicker! I have already lost one week!

Going to bed now - hopefully to sleep. Have to have a blood test in the morning so that I can have 3 (yes 3) MRI's on the 19th. Don't know what the blood test has to do with the MRI, but I'm doing what the dr. says.

Hope I have better customers tomorrow than the past few days. One person wanted to book a meeting room on Feb. 29th. :rotfl: Another tried to get the UPS website by typing w w w d o t u p s d o t c o m - don't know why that didn't work :sad2:
