So I have a 24-sheet pack of Purex 1-in-3. Even if I were OCD, I probably would not be able to use it all. If anyone wants to share, let me know. popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

DEE47 I will be glad to share dee..... we could probabaly add a third and still not use all of them :) you may have already have gotten some PMs requesting sharage.... just let me know if I am in or not so I can cross them off my list
thnaks for asking!

Welcome squirePM!

What will I miss:
I will miss the LOST new episodes (unless they play it on the cruise) and Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla Coffee. The coffee is one thing on the cruise I have not been impressed with........

I will NOT miss my (work) blackberry

BROOKLYN- AK vs. EPCT- I like Animal Kingdom more than Epcot... but my son and I are nature/animal lovers... I liked what rides they did have and throughly enjoyed the safari...

I thought Epcot was alot of food and shopping (in the different countries) and a little "dated"...but...the fireworks at epcot are enticing......

Many questions....

Post #10 has FE details and Michelle 2 can answer FE questions too
The expected temps were posted about two or three pages back :)
No inside pools.... I beleive the pools are heated (not enough for me however ..if its not above 80)
Your dinner designation should be on your cruise invoice - main or second...(it is on the one my TA gave me and on the one I got when I first booked on our last cruise)

YAY 10 weeks!!!!!!:dance3:

Joi, I may have a friend joining me on this cruise but even so we can share -- as you said, even 3 can share 24 sheets (if I do 8 loads on the cruise I have problems!). And I got no other takers so far, so you're guaranteed!

One week from today we will be sailing on the Sapphire Princess. So we will be packing this weekend.

This will be our first time on Princess. We're looking forward to it.

Looking for some opinions please...

We are trying to decide which park to go to on Friday before the cruise. We can only go one day so trying to make the best decision possible.

We have ruled out the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. No MK bc we go to DL all of the time and they are similar. NO to HS bc there is not as much for our younger DD.

So we are down to Epcot or Animal Kingdom. Can anyone tell me why or why not they would pick one of those two parks. They both have stuff we like.

Thanks for any input/feedback!

I vote Epcot! But I am biased because it is my all time favorite park. I miss it so much and I was just there in November. I get so happy when I'm there.

I am not the one doing the Question of the Day - but I have one:

Is there any item you will miss on the cruise that you normally have at home?

Krisann

I am editing to add my 3 kids who will be at home going to school. I am so used to having them with us, I forgot that they aren't going.
Internet, second!

I just sailed on its sister ship, the Emerald princess in the baltics and just loved it!! Have a great time!

Great DEE just let me know how much I owe you :cool1: and I will cross that off my list! Thanks!!!!

and I still hope we can do the tea ressie thing when we get onboard :wizard:
you never know a little magic could happen

Jack Bauer

and my Blackberry and my non stop internet connections!

Ok, I had to google to see who Jack Bauer was :)

I will miss the internet.

And my vote is for Epcot. Love Soarin, Turtle Talk with Crush, Nemo, walking around the countries.

Hi everyone! My best friend and I have lost our minds and decided to book this cruise, today! It feels so late, every cruise that we have ever booked we had at least 18 months to plan. So we feel a little lost. We really need help with the airfare. We are trying to find a great price, but we have no idea what time we should book our flight home. Should we take a taxi to the airport or book a car service? We've both cruised with DCL before, 5 for me and 15 for my friend so we know the ship pretty well. Any help you can offer is sooooo appreciated!

PS We are SOOOOO EXCITED!:yay:

Welcome.

Woody

hi woody! and everyone else! I am the crazy best friend!!!! I am also Amanda!!
Woody I think we have sailed with you before?? Maybe Sept of 04/06 ??????
We are soooooo very excited but kinda late to the ball game and would appreciate some guidance!!!

wooohoooooooooooo

Oh yeah I also know Jan is sailing and I do know Jan!! lol

WELCOME ! Ladies!

I found a good deal with aer lingus....but swiss air was pretty good too ...
but I am flying into JFK airport and I am not sure what route you need to take.....

Based on feedback I got from other TA-ers...they said you can get off the ship pretty early on sat. My flight leaves barcelona at 10:50 am and I have been told I will get to the airport in plenty of time plus there are other DISers on my flight...which really makes me feel better.

hope this helps

WE ARE IN!!!!!!! WE ARE BOOKED!!!!!! I am beyond excited to be cruising again but slightly panicked over all I must now accomplish before we go!

I am so excited to join all of you, this thread is sooo fun and informative.

Now I am off to catch up on all these pages and figure out what all I need to do to sign up for stuff.

I am sooooo excited! This is our 25th anniversary gift to ourselves and it is suddenly 5 months sooner then we expected.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming. . .:)

:welcome:

This will be my first cruise, ever, anywhere. Too late for a practice run...
hope I'm not jumping off a cliff into the deep ocean, I can't swim (literately).
:scared:

P.A.M.

:welcome:

You will have a great time! But be prepared! It is VERY addictive ;) My very 1st cruise ever was the WBPC in 2008. I was worried about 15 nights being too long if I didn't like it  Since then I did a B2B in Sept (cause 7 nights would just be too short ) and I now have this cruise to look forward to. I also have a week in Oct booked and the repo/Alaska B2B in 2011....see what I mean!

Where will you be sailing to? I have friends who have sailed Princess and enjoyed it :thumbsup2

Welcome new cruisers.

Kileybeth--we were on the last cruise with you guys !

Brooklyn--I vote for Epcot because of the variety. I only usually spend a few hours at AK.

We live in CA. We booked flights through Air Berlin to JFK (around $420 pp) and then booked a flight on Delta to CA.

We are spending an extra night in BCN. We did the early morning flight on the last TA and did not enjoy it. I am a morning person but I don't like to wake up super early the last morning of the cruise. It is too much rushing and too much trouble.

Yes with the TA you could book a flight on Friday if you wanted to. Since the cruise docks on Friday it makes it so you can really leave at anytime on Sat. The hotels in BCN are expensive but it is worth it to not end the trip on a bad note. I missed having breakfast with our wait staff and we barely went to sleep the last night before having to wake up and start the LONG trip home!

Amanda, I even remember your tag, "This page intentionally left blank." LOL!

Thank you everyone (well almost everyone :rotfl2:) for their input on where to go with our one day.

We will not be staying for fireworks. I want to leave the park by 3 to be closer to the port sooner....but DH thinks I am crazy! LOL

He was set on Epcot but now thinks AK.

DD Maddy loves animals and stuff.

Both girls loved the Kim Possible thing.

We "snuck" Maddy on Everist 2 times b4 a CM measured her and she was just under the line. Her little heart was broken that she could not ride a third time. Now she would def be tall enough.

We love the Nemo show. The girls are huge fans of musicals.

DH brought up a good point that AK is the hardest one to get to. We normally stay on property and the bus rides to AK drive me crazy. We stayed in the Epcot area last time so it was so nice to walk to Epcot or take the boat. So maybe I am leaning more towards AK for the fact that we can drive there.

Thanks again for all of the input!!!

I would be cautious and check with DCL before trying this.

Last year, we went to various overnight ports, with embarkation the next day.

A ship being cleared for a day in port (such as for excursions) does not necessarily mean it is ready for disembarkation (with passport control, customs agents, and customs declarations).

YMMV
