I wish I would have inquired before I booked air. I had no idea it was kids fly free?!

Sorry, I meant children sail for free on the med cruise. We already booked air via Disney and since its still a return flight from Barcelona, only 11 days later, I am assuming the air would be the same cost. We did change the air once already (Apr 9 instead of 10 to Orlando) and because we are staying at Disney All Star Resort, there was no deviation fee nor additional transfer costs. I'll have to wait to hear from my TA to make sure my assumptions are correct. Here's hoping! :thumbsup2

My bad. I knew what you meant and I typed air instead of sail. :) With DCL handling your air and pre-cruise stay you should be fine. FUN!!:thumbsup2

I've been on two DCL Panama Canal cruises. Both times they had the fireworks on a port night, when we had late all aboard times.

Each time, it was a big deal for the town to have a Disney ship visit. For many of the local kids, this was about as close to a Disney park as they would ever get. DCL would play it up with a firework show for the town to see.

Woody

Now that you mention it - on the PC WB I remember that now.

Love it!!!

I think our girls' will be great friends! My 3 princess:princess:princess: are usually matching too! :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

Mine do not have that many party dresses to wear, but they would love to have that many. :wizard: :) I made a roster of the outfits that I'm taking so that I know what we have/need. :surfweb: I need to get a life. ;)

Thanks for asking about the mesh bag. BUMMER!

Can someone please share a tutorial on how to Multi-Quote? TIA

Can someone please share a tutorial on how to Multi-Quote? TIA

When you are reading messages, you can click on the button next to "quote" and it will turn orange, keep reading, and quoting using that button, then when you are done hit the "post" on the left hand side - it will put all your multi-quotes in one message and you can respond to each one within one message.

Is that as clear as mud?

Krisann

The button next to the "quote" button is the multi quote button.

Woody and Lynne - I am feeling a little pressure from the 2 of you....LOL :rotfl2:

I think this could be another hot political campaign. Red versus black. Too bad I already voted black w/white (because someone said she didn't want red as it was the lanyard color of her last cruise :rolleyes1).

Why are some people so persuasive?

I hope you have been enjoying the website lately - I modified it specifically with you in mind. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Me persuasive, NO! :rotfl2:

Well I am hoping that if you keep putting Lime Green on teh website eveyone will get sick of it and we won't have it on our lanyards! :rotfl2:

1. Verify that we have the correct number of rooms for your group. If you have more than one, a (2) or (3) will appear after your screen name for the 2nd, 3rd rooms. If more than one room, let us know who's actually staying there (even if all kids - this isn't official DCL reservation info).
We have just one stateroom as stated on the website.

2. Verify the spelling of your "real" name and screen name as it appears on the external website (address below in my signature) - post either way: okay or corrections.
Screen name is Yvet and real name is Yvette
Screen name is Emiel and real name is the same.

3. Leave a post if you really don't want a lanyard and/or name tag.
Ohw we sooo want a lanyard and a name tag.....

4. Post a photo of yourself and/or you and your sailing party. (Avatars don't transfer well to the website.
DisneyWonder030.jpg

Since this photo has been taken (may 2009) i changed glasses and my hear is longer....
Emiel lookes the same.

5. PM me with names (for name tags) for those who are keeping personal info off the website or DISboards.
You can give us just one name on the name tage, our real names.

6. Choose between the official logo and the official + Donald (like mine) for your name tag.
We would like to have the official logo and Donald.

** Our ages are stated on the website but there wrong, it must be 33 and 43 years old.
Somewhere i made us a year older.....

Thanks for doing all of this!!!!

Oh Lynne...I just realized donald was running on the official design w/donald ...I'd take that one (and Evan) please. Talking my friends and their son into a dis cruise on the dream next year.....

Is it too late to get a lime green lanyard? Stands out even more than red!<grin>

Fast forward -

Brooklyn - "Mom, I REALLY love this lime green dress for my prom"
Mom - (Thud ):headache:

(Sorry, I know I'm a latecomer, but couldn't resist - we actually LIKED our lime green DIS pins in the past.)

Been Busy, welcome to everyone new!

Hope everyone has been booking their excursions and tours and gotten all that they want.

Brooklyn, love the dresses picture. My girls are the same way only worse since there are 6 of them. Now you know why I have to stuff dresses in suitcases and have DCL press them. At least they don't weigh much, it's the shoes that are a killer. If you need nautical dress shoes to go with your sailor dresses we got adorable ones at GAP.

Still no airfare for us, endless debate of what's the best option.

Going to go back and try to catch up on the thread.

Wishing everyone a great day!

I could not imagine with 6 of them! :scared1:

I just bought these new space bags that are for hanging clothes. I am going to see how well they work. You are right they don't weight a ton but getting them in there is the killer! Oh yes and shoes!!!! Oh, I am going to have to go to GAP and check out the shoes. Thanks! :thumbsup2

I finally heard back from a private company that does van tours of Gibraltar. The pricing is based per person rather than a set price. Here is what was sent to me.

Thank you for your email and interest in Gibraltartours.
If so please see information below regarding tours and prices:
The Standard Tour, lasting one and a half hours at a cost of £25 per person, this tour includes visiting Pillars of Hercules, St. Michael’s Cave, the Top of the Rock, the Apes, the Great Siege Tunnels.
The Extended tour, lasting two and a half hours approx, costs £35 per person and includes visiting Pillars of Hercules, St. Michael’s Cave, the Top of the Rock, the Apes, the Great Siege Tunnels and Moorish Castle, we will also drive to the Frontier Area and Europa Point via Camp Bay and Keightley Way Tunnel. At Europa Point there are spectacular views to Africa and from this point you can see three Countries, two Continents, the Atlantic and the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea.
These tours do not involve much walking and as a qualified guide, You will be given a complete historical commentary throughout the duration of the tour. The vehicle used for this tour will be a Volkswagon Caravelle, 8 seater, is fully air-conditioned and would be for your party exclusive. The price is inclusive of all entrance fees.

Kristi

Does this sound like a good company to go with for the walk less/see more group? We could pre-book and have the van waiting for us at the pier.

I think the standard tour would be fine, but if others want to see the Moorish Castle, that is cool too.

Happy Goofy - what do you think?
Stlkeeler - what do you think?

Anyone else interested in joining us? I believe the van can hold up to 8 but I'll recheck the website to confirm.

Rechecked website and the vans do hold up to 8 people. If you want to check them out go to gibraltartours.org
