3yo on Kali River Rapids??

Waterfalls? The thing that gets you wet is the drop after the burned out forest. The people who go down backwards get soaked by the wave of water that comes over the top of the seats. We rode in December when it was in the low 70's and my DH and DD both got soaked. We rode Kali as the last ride of the day and dripped back to the car.

depending where you are sitting your bottom half may get wet after the drop but it is nothing compared to when the falls are on dumping hundreds of gallons of water on your head!!!!! :flower:

Now I am confused. Are the falls you are talking about at the big drop? That's where I've personally had hundreds of gallons on water dropped on my head. The raft goes down the big drop and kicks water up and over the backwards facing seats. Where are the falls you're talking about?

the falls are at the end of the ride the boat keeps spinning around under them while water is just constantly being poured over your head for about 15 second (15 long seconds) i know what you are talking about and i have never gotten that wet from the drop. we go on this ride over andover and over at ak and at hershey park and the main place we get drenched is under the falls. :flower1:

My DD4 was not fond of getting soaked but wanted to ride Kali. I had her put on her rain poncho, tucked it in around her she she sat in the seat, and she just got a few drops on her. She loved the ride that way.

I guess we'll need to change into water shoes first so we don't end up with soggy tennis shoes!

This is what we did. We knew we were going to go on the ride so we brought cheap flip-flops with us and changed into them before entering the line. We also wore lightweight clothes that dry fast (nylon shorts-NOT jean shorts) and NO white shirts  !
