3rd wk of Nov or wk after Thanksgiving?

I am trying to plan a trip to DW during light crowds. My MIL and her husband want to go with my dh & I. They have never been and it would be great to take them when it is not crowded. School time doesn't bother us because we are being bad parents and not taking our dd's.

Which week would be better.......3rd week of November or the week after Thanksgiving? My exact choices are Nov. 14 - 18 or Nov. 28 - Dec. 2.

I would say right after Thanksgiving.

According to Birnbaum's (and everyone I've talked to), right after Thanksgiving to the week before Xmas is the best time to go.

You can go to MVMCP, check out the decorations, and feel the holiday spirit with extremely low crowds.

We've done both weeks (T-Day week 4x and the week after 1x). We much prefer the week after. The crowds are noticeably lighter and the Candelight Processional is available. We did not go to MVMCP.

I going the week after as everyone had said the crows will be lighter which does make since. I went 2 weeks before Christmas last year and it was great even being cold. Weather is one thing no one can predict not even the weatherman LOL I am trying this week because I have AP and need to use it before it expires and will not do first week in December due to it being POP warner week and Possibly Mousefest.

We've had wonderful times with little or no waiting for any ride during the week after Thanksgiving. Plus, that is the opening days of the Christmas decorations and Osbourne lights and the Very Merry Magical Mickey Christmas party at night. The hotels become beautiful stages of holiday decorations. We hope to go again this year which will be our 3rd visit at this time frame.

This will be our third year going the Tues after Thanksgiving. Pop Warner I believe starts on 12/3 so you can still get almost a week in without that worry. Our first trip to CBR in 04 we did see Pop Warner kids, but they left early in AM and were not at resort during day. At night the pool was a little crowded but not bad.
I felt like the parks were more crowded in 05'. I don't know if people have figured out that it's a great time to go or if all the advertising they been doing has increased visitors. The lines were still minimal though and we saw everything we wanted to see and do.
