3rd trip & 15th Anniversary & wanting new digital camera!

Any suggestions on a good digital camera? I want to spend around $300. This is our 3rd trip, wanting to take good quality pictures. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I will say that I am partial to canon or olympus.

We love, love, love our Kodak Easy Share...we bought it before our last trip to WDW and the pics turned out great. And, it is soooo easy to download the pics onto our pc...

We bought the Canon Powershot A95 just before Christmas, and I'd recommend it!! We love it, and especially how it doesn't suck down batteries like our old Kodak digital did!

We have 2 of the Kodak Easy Share Digital Camera's. We have the DX6490 and the LS743. We love both of them.

I have a question on the cameras mentioned....I currently have a Sony cybershot, but the time it takes when you need a flash, between pictures is very long. I want a good digital camera w/almost an instant ready flash between pictures. Is there such a thing?
