Oh my goodness. Scarlett is too cute for words! Happy 2nd birthday to her!
What a beautiful park! The day looked so nice! It's always nice to get beautiful weather this late into the season!
Pregnancy looks amazing on you! You look fantastic! Glad we got to see a picture!
I bet it's a huge relief to get all of that furniture purchased and out of the way. I bet it feels 10X more real now! Glad to hear the nursery is coming along! Do you know what theme it will be? Colors and such?

Thanks for all of your kind comments. It is a huge relief to finally be getting some stuff done. DH has made some great progress in the nursery too and I'm really happy with it. We haven't really decided on a theme yet. We have another ultrasound in a couple of weeks and I'm hoping that they will take another look to confirm that it is in fact a girl in there lol Wall colour will probably be neutral either way, and then we will accent with colour. Joining in! We're looking at going in December 2014 too
Thanks for joining in! Do you have a PTR started? I will take a look and join in, it will be nice to read about someone else going with a little one at the same time

It has been almost a month since I've posted on this PTR, and probably almost that long since I've posted on any of yours, eek!
Things have been insane around here lately. I will give a proper update another day when I have some time, but for now I'll just say that I just finished up my last presentation for the semester at school yesterday, I had my baby shower last weekend, the nursery is progressing (but still not finished!), we went away with family for a weekend, and we had a couple of health scares involving my brothers. Those are just the big things that have been going on.
I hope that everyone is doing well and I would like to wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving if you are celebrating this weekend

Aw thank you for thinking of me! Things are looking much better (at least for my one brother) right now, which is a huge relief. I hope that you have a wonderful trip!! I will be updating soon, I have Sunday and Monday off so hopefully I can find some time in there!

Finally, it's time for an update!! This is going to be a life update, as not much new is happening trip-wise, but that should be changing soon!
I hope that everyone had wonderful Thanksgivings and you are all excited about the upcoming holidays!
A fair bit has been going on since my last update, I will try to get it all in quick.
I am finished school for the semester
So I have one credit left until I get my degree and I am so excited to be almost finished.
We found out that my youngest brother has a malformation in his brain that may require some surgery to fix. This was only found out because we were looking into a concussion that he had gotten months ago. We just saw the specialist last week and are now in the process of determining whether surgery is going to be the best course of treatment or if there is something else that can be done for him instead. It isn't a major surgical procedure, but any surgery is scary in my mind!
While dealing with this, we found out that my other brother had a burst vessel (and therefore a bleed) on his brain. This one came out of nowhere, and was really scary. He spent a few days in the hospital, and a few weeks at home on bed rest. He is still on some medication, and monitoring from specialists, but he has made great strides and they are confident that he is going to be fine.
I told them that they were both going to get a good smack once they were healthy for scaring me so much!! lol We are a close family, so this was really a hard time for me.
Now on to some of the good stuff!

We all went away one weekend to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday, and it was a nice little getaway. I played mini-golf (and did quite well!) at 30+ weeks pregnant!
Here is a picture of my brother's girlfriend and I while we were away. She is an amazing girl and has stood by his side through this whole scare with his brain.
On November 24th, I had my baby shower. My mom and MIL threw it together at my moms house. I had a really nice time. Most people were able to attend and some of them I haven't seen in a while, so it was great to be able to spend some time with them. The shower was a Christmas theme, and everything looked really cute. We got a bunch of great gifts, and now have pretty much everything that we need for when the baby comes! Here are a few pictures.

After the shower was over, we had our annual tree decorating party at my moms house. My parents, brothers, brother's girlfriend, my grandparents, DH and I always get together at my moms house to decorate her tree. We wear our Santa Mickey hats, listen to music and act a little silly.

I bought DH a Mickey Santa hat last year when we were in WDW, so this is the first time in 8 years that DH has had his own hat to wear, I was pretty excited about that. Of course, he had to put on a silly face for me.

At this current moment, DH just needs to sand down the last coat of putty on the nursery and then my brother is going to paint and I am hoping that by the weekend we will have the furniture moved in. I wanted it done sooner than this, but it didn't quite work out lol My brother does painting as a side job though and is really good and really fast, so this part should move along quicker than some of the others.
I have all of the baby's stuff opened and organized, but it is in the living room since her bedroom isn't ready. The nesting instinct has really kicked in so I want to get it all done, but I have to be patient for a bit longer!
I have been feeling the pressure lately, and I've been wondering if baby girl is going to wait until her due date to make her appearance. I had to go to labour and delivery last week for monitoring for some braxton hicks contractions, and yesterday I was having some more contractions with some back pain. My doctor said that things are looking good, but baby is head down and ready to go! Work is getting more and more difficult, but overall, I've been feeling pretty good so it can be hard to know when I should slow down. I'm just taking it day by day right now, and our baby girl will be here before we know it!
So that's what I've been up to! I've gotten caught up on some of your reports, but I will work on the rest and hopefully be all caught up soon!
As far as the trip goes, I did actually make my lists of character meets for each of the parks (finally!). So I will post another update soon with my top picks for each park and hopefully I can get some input on what everyone else has thought about these meets - it has been a while since I've done any of these!

On a more serious note - I am sorry to hear that both of your brothers are dealing with illnesses. I wish them both a speedy recovery. I am glad your brother with the burst blood vessel is doing OK and hope your other brother sails through surgery.

Thank you for all of your kind words. Things are looking better for my brothers so we are trying to relax now! For some reason, that dress makes me look small (perhaps the print?) I feel much bigger than I look in those pictures lol

It's funny because I was just saying that I needed to sew some Mickey ears onto Scarlett's hat! I had such a hard time even finding that little hat for her last year, there is no way I could have found one with ears already attached lol DIY it is! Thank you for the kind words about my brothers

Things are looking much better, I just hope that they stay that way! Thank you for your kind words - I am starting to feel big and uncomfortable, but I haven't gained much weight (just the belly!) and I've been lucky enough to have a pretty smooth pregnancy so far. I really love our tradition of decorating my moms tree (all Disney ornaments, of course lol) and wearing our santa Mickey hats.
