3oth August 2007 wonder anyone going?

:sail: I thought I would start doing a weekly countdown for us, like I do for TWGH.

The high today in Port Canaveral is 91.To get us started, here is a picture of the scale model of the Wonder in Port Canaveral.

And here is a picture of TWGH and The Boy in Port Canaveral. You can see the Magic in the background, but the Wonder will look remarkably similar.

Have a good day, everyone!

WOW, great pics, thanks for posting them.

I haven't been on much lately as my poor dog is very sick, he is only 5 but something major has happened to his liver. Right now he seems to be getting on really well with his meds but I have been so worried about him and haven't given much thought to the wedding/holiday. I want him to be really on the mend before we go otherwise I'll spend the whole honeymoon worried about him. The vet is really optimistic and he has said the liver can repair itself, so I'm praying for his speedy recovery. Meanwhile he's getting loads of cuddles:goodvibes

Sorry to hear about your dog, I know how precious they are. We lost our 7 year-old last month unexpectedly, and it was devastating. Hope yours heals up well. Was it melamine poisoning? There's a lot of that in North America at the moment, and I think liver trouble is one of the effects.

The vet really has no idea, he thinks it may be something toxic that he ingested but we really don't have a clue. He is due to get more blood tests next week and the vet hopes his levels have decreased. It all came on so suddenly. I am so sorry to hear about your dog, they are just like one of the family:hug: . I am so attached to Morgan and I would be lost without him:sad1:
He doesn't need a liver biopsy yet as he is managing to eat and drink as normal. The vet said he is a fascinating case cause to look at him, he looks and acts perfectly healthy, it really is strange.

Sorry to hear about Morgan:hug:
We don't have any pets but we have lot's of friends that do and I know what you mean when you say they are part of your family as there animals are very much part of there family,Heck we even get Christmas and Birthday cards from our friends and their pets!! and big slobbery kisses too.
Anyway I hope that they manage to sort everything out and that he makes a speedy recovery.
Thinking of you

Morgan is at work with me just now. I asked my boss if I could take him in so I can keep an eye on him. Luckily he agreed. We are in a small office, and at least I can watch him, it helps put my mind at ease. He seems to be doing really well, his Jaundice has gone down alot and he's eating, drinking and taking his meds. He is looking really well, so I am hoping he is on the mend!

Great news about Morgan and great that you have such an understanding Boss:goodvibes .

How are you getting on with your plans? I know that it has probably been hard with Morgan being sick but are you ready for your trip, as you only have a few weeks to go:yay:
We are getting more and more excited as the days go by.

Good morning, Adventurers!

S-C, I am so glad Morgan is recovering. I'm sure that's a load off a mind that's already got a full plate.

Does anyone have anything exciting planned for the weekend? We have a Street Jazz Festival we're going to go to. They close down the street, and different bands play all over in front of the various shops. Oh, and I'm taking DS to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight.

I know what you mean about the food, I'm always looking at my pre-printed menus, pics of the food etc. I can't wait. I have been dieting like a mad woman although this week has been pretty unsuccessful with Morgan being ill, never had time to cook so had a few bad things to eat, last night was sausage rolls:eek:
These 9 pounds aren't budging but I have 19 days left, so I'm gonna try.
I am getting really excited now, I have planned this for ages, I can't believe it's almost here:banana:

Have just been reading tour wedding journel ..just about to take a peep at your dress and have just read how you meet your hubbie to be ...ahhh. Our wedding anniversary is the day after your wedding on the 21st we will be celebrating 14 years....

Hi Mort we are planning on visiting some Family that are travelling down to Cornwall this weekend so I'm sure we will be having a good chat, lot's of food!!!!! and a drink or three:goodvibes
That Jazz festival sounds pretty neat and a lot of fun.

We went to a theatre production of the Rocky Horror picture show, we were newbies so weren't quite sure what to expect... felt very underdressed and have never seen so many blokes in fishnets and high heels:rotfl: :rotfl: and they all looked better than I would have !!!!
Anyway have a fab time , don't forget your newspaper.
Oh Yes we are going to see the new Harry Potter film on Monday as well so that should be good.
Anyway hope you all have a great time take care

Good morning(afternoon), Adventurers!

I've been hearing a lot of crickets chirping, lately. ;) I guess we're all busy getting ready to go. I've noticed no one has suggested a meet. I'm guessing this is because it's a short cruise and we've all got family, etc. to spend time with, especially you, Summer. ;) That said, if we run into each other, I think we could say a cordial hello. In view of that, I'm willing to post my picture if others are, so we at least have a shot at recognition.

Mortlives - You post first and I'll be sure to post mine, I hate posting my pic but like you said I would like to be able to recognise my ship mates;)

It is 87 in Port Canaveral today. I don't have any pictures from the Wonder, myself, so I'll link to a picture from LoveMickey. Here is Triton's, which I am really looking forward to trying. Hey, maybe I'll see some of you there.

It's funny, but I don't seem to have any pictures since I lost a couple of sizes and stopped wearing glasses, so the best I can do for now is what I used to look like.

We set sail in 3 weeks. It is 91F in Nassau today. I don't have any pictures of Nassau, so I did a quick tour of the WDWInfo gallery. Mary Jo posted this great picture:
