Yep I know what you mean regarding Holiday plans,
I have been catching up on trip reports from other boards and just generally sorting out End of year things at School.
It will be my eldest daughters year 6 camp on monday so I need to get everything sorted for that and we have finally finished decorating our upstairs.
So lot's of clearing up and finishing off.
Anyway yet again the Weather here is dreadfull I have just come back from a football tournament with 10 children and we are all soaked to the skin.
Never mind will prepare me for those Florida storms!!!!

I'm here too, I've just been doing last minute organising for the wedding and now I'm trying to organise Private Dining at The Grand Floridian for our last night before the cruise. This will be another surprise for Steven I am right now trying to organise menus etc.

Hello, Everyone.

For us it is 5 weeks today until we depart for Florida. How's everyone else doing with their countdowns?

We visited my parents on Sunday, and my Mom served me my beverage in a DCL glass I brought back for her. It sure made me feel anticipatory. Suddenly, I can't wait.

Kind of off topic, but: Does anyone else wish there was a floating version of the Adventurer's Club on the Wonder?

I.m so curious what is theis 'Adventurers Club' I keep hearing about? I intend to go to Downtown Disney and check it out but I have no idea what to expect...

The Adventurer's Club is great. It's interactive theatre. The premise is that it's like one of those old 1930's Gentlemen's Clubs (although not restricted to gentlemen) on a membership drive. There is a standard cast of characters: the club president, the maid, the dashing adventurer, etc. and various shows take place in various rooms throughout the night. The Radio Show is classic, and the Mask Room show is a lot of fun.

There is also a club song, and salute, and beverage (which is the same as the salute: Kungaloosh!).

Definitely worth the price of admission.

Hello Ladies, how are you both today ? Have heard lot's about the Adventures club and think it would work very well on the Disney ships.
Anyway 21 days from today and we will be at the airport waiting to fly to Orlando

Today we have recieved our final villa details and have just got of the phone with the Royal Pacific to sort out some details etc.
So it is really real and not far away and we are really excited .

Hey, Pixie. 21 days? Sweet! I have to work more days than that (24 working days and counting). If everyone's going to try the Adventurer's Club, maybe that's what we could call our cruise.

I don't remember if I asked, do you have a Loews First membership? It's free and you get nifty perks. I love the Royal Pacific. We were just there in January.
We may go back during March break for a short visit.

I went out over the weekend to get a new tent for our camping, but they were sold out of the one I wanted. I'll have to try a different Canadian Tire.

I should buy my park tickets soon. I just want to see if our dollar is going to go up more, first.

Hi everyone, are we getting excited yet?!?

I've been traveling from the mountains of Tennessee to the beaches of the Florida panhandle over the last couple of weeks, so I'm trying to catch up.

Cornish Pixie - STILL in school? Bless your heart! (as we say here in the south) And you're headed to Florida in less than 3 weeks?? I am so jealous!!

Summer-Caitlyn - only 9 pounds to go?! Great job!! I think we'll be at the spa at the same time on the Nassau day. Your rasul appointment is the same time my DH and I have a couple's message scheduled.

Mortlives - I love the Imagineering Field Guides also! I hope to find the Animal Kingdom book in August, I didn't see it last month when we were at the *world.* What a wonderful surprise for your in-laws! Where is it that you're sending them?

ksc37 - I was worried about seasickness on our first cruise, not because I'm prone to it, but because I'm a "psycho." I'm the type of mom who has "sympathy" sickness when my children get sick. I was afraid if anyone near me got sick, then I would get sick too. But even though I felt the movement of the ship (at nearly all times) I never got sick. I did have Bonine and Ginger tablets with me for incase though.

I can't seem to find the AK book anywhere. I guess I could order it online, but I don't think about it until I go to WDW.

It IS a small world! You are right at an hour north of me! I live in Athens, AL, right on I65. Franklin is such a beautiful (and growing) area. We were at Fall Creek Falls a little over a week ago for a family reunion.

ETA - we fly out of BNA when we travel! Need a lift?

Timmy's coffee is a Canadian institution. There are those who take it with them wherever they go. You might want to drop by the Canadian board and ask them about it. Let's just say my lack of enthusiasm could be considered heresy by many.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't checked in for a few days but the last few days at school have been hetic...... Anyway guess what (this ones especially for you Luv to travel........Last day of school was yesterday we finally broke up)


So I can now finally concentrate on the holiday and spend even more time talking with you guy's ( well in between getting the house sorted, ironing, packing etc, etc.)

Not long now mort it's good when you get your tickets isn't it? makes it more real and by the way I think thats a great name for our cruise

Anyway have been up since 4.30 am as Hubbie gets up for work at that time and due to him having Man flu!!! he was'nt the quietest shall we say.
Oh well after several attempts of trying to get back to sleep I gave in and switched my laptop on and went right to my home page which of course is the dis boards!!!

Will have to drag myself away in a min though as I've got my holiday hair appointment, well we all have, I'm lucky as my friends a hairdresser so she comes to us.
So the girls will be getting a cut and I will be getting a cut and colour ( well I've got to cover that grey somehow)
