Is Scotch 3M dbl sided tape okay to use?
It says photo safe "in accordance with ISO Standard 14523"
Does that mean anything?

TIA:)

I use it for paper bag albums since it holds bazzill to the paper bags the best. IMHO it's too expensive to use as an all the time adhesive

I don't know what paper bag albums are:confused: Sorry, I am new at this, I saw a sticky I can read about it though.
Is it a safe product for the photos?
I saw a multi-pack @ SAM'S Club that seemed reasonable, but I haven't priced or used the CM products. Are they more photo safe?

It's photo safe. I think a tape runner of some sort is going to be cheaper (and easier to use)

Bite the bullet and get a 3m ATG gun. The 714 takes 1/4" tape and the 700 takes 3/4", 1/2" or 1/4" tape with an adapter.
They offer an acid free option and it's SO much cheaper in the long run than buying refills over and over.

The gun is $36 at www.framingsupplies.com and the tape refills (for a 36 yard - yes yard - refill that's 1/4" wide) are about 2.80.

you know you wanna. ;)

I like the idea of the cost of the refills but I can't get over the size of the gun. I can't imagine I could use that comfortably

The "gun" looks interesting. But, how big is it? Can it and the refills be bought @ stores? A Michaels 40% off item?

It's quite large - think packing tape gun size. It is pretty light though.

I don't think you can get refills at Michaels but at the price, I wouldn't mind not having 40% off because there is so much adhesive!

I use a tombow at the moment. It's not bad, and refills run me about $4
