3DPH or 2DPH with LL for President’s Day weekend?

We are going President’s Day weekend to watch our daughter march with her marching band. We have never been at this time of year, and know it’s going to be crowded. We have gone yearly the last 20 years at the end of August which is crazy hot but low crowds. We currently have three day park hoppers, but I’m toying with dropping it down to two day park hoppers and using that saved money to buy lightning lanes. Will be visiting the parks on the 15th and 16th. We were just there in July, and wouldn’t have thought to visit so soon if our daughter wasn’t going to be there. So it’s just a very expensive unnecessary trip lol. Just trying to maximize the value. Looking for some other opinions. I am very excited to go when the weather won’t be as horrible as August! I think that the savings from going from 3-day to 2-day tickets will be a lot more than the cost of the LL, so you will have even more money leftover to spend.

Sounds like you are not too excited about this trip and only going to see your daughter perform (which is super cool by the way), so I would save the money and just go for two days. Relax at the resort for the other day.
