Hi everyone!

We're taking my son on his very first trip to Disney in a few weeks, and I'm curious about rides and shows with 3D glasses (toy story mainia, philharmagic, etc...) My son will be one week shy of turning 2 years old at the time of our trip. Are kids this age able to keep 3D glasses on and enjoy these attractions, or do you think I should skip them?

More than likely, he will take them off several times, but might still enjoy the attraction. My daughter was 2.5 first time we took her and she loved Philharmagic even though she kept taking the glasses off and putting them back on.

Have a great trip!!

A CM recommended that my daughter wear the toy story glasses upside down (the keyhole for your nose up and the flat part on her nose). It actually worked well for her.

Our youngest would not wear them but we still did all the 3D shows and he was just fine. It just looks blurry but he was ok with that I guess. We enjoy the movies and were not skipping them just because we had a stubborn kid :)

It depends on the kid. Some will leave them on, and some don't like them and pull them off. Some will take them on and off looking at the screen with and without them. I wouldn't skip them just because the toddler won't wear the glasses. It will just be a little blurry without them if he won't keep them on. DD loved Toy Story Mania at age 2, but she was an older 2 on her first trip. I think she mostly kept the glasses on in that ride because she was so involved in it and we were moving a lot. I don't think she kept the glasses on that much in Philharmagic. She took them off and put them back on a lot because she didn't really like the glasses that much. I think she still enjoyed it though....but if she didn't I know I still enjoyed it!
