When you look for a DAS Return Time in the app for a show, it will show you a time for the next show.
If you don’t want that time, you would need to wait until that show has loaded the theater.
You can also get a DAS Return Time from Guest Relations or the Guest Experience umbrellas.
DAS Advance Selections are also available for most shows.

Both DAS Advanced Selections and DAS Return Times for shows have a time window with a beginning and end since it is for a specific show time

Thank you for your response - is there reserved DAS seating or something? What makes it different from just going to the theatre for when the next show is scheduled?
Not reserved DAS seating.
The guests using Lightning Lane are sent to an area of the stadium different than the one Standby uses.
The biggest difference is that using DAS, you will get into the show that your DAS Return Time was for. If you just go to the theater, it’s possible you might not get into that show. It‘s a pretty big theater, so no way to tell how likely that is to happen

When we were there a couple weeks ago, the theater was totally full, which according to the CM who directed us to our seats, is pretty much the norm for that show…. its pretty much always packed. We got one of the last available scooter/wheelchair spots, which turned out to be very close to the entry area. We heard them turning away people who couldn’t transfer.
The CMs were doing a really good job of keeping the disabled family/
companion seating areas roped off and reserved so families could stay together (except for one huge group, that had to split up… but the CM’s still managed to keep them all pretty close.) Only at the last minute… just as the show started, did they fill in the remainder of the disabled benches with people from the regular queue.

Forgot to mention the filling wheelchair spots is the main reason we use DAS for Indiana Jones - really any show with limited numbers of performances.
We have done Standby in the past and were turned away because all of the wheelchair spots for people who can’t transfer were filled already.

I saw that Indiana Jones: Epic Stunt Spectacular is on the list for DAS Advance Selections at DHS. How does this work? Is this ever really crowded? (Indiana Jones was closed the last time we went to Hollywood Studios and I haven't seen this show in almost 30 years so I don't know what to expect in terms of DAS.)
Good thing with DAS or FP is that you get seated more upclose and don't need to wait in line so far in advance of the show. A few times I have gone and it was booked and we couldn't go in, but that doesn't happen too often.

I was encouraged to get DAS but I don’t know how to use it. Is there an app for DAS?
