We have 380 points for rent. Must be used between July 31 2013 and Aug 1st 2014.

*****Also MUST be used in either Disney collection, Adventures by Disney or World passport collection.***** $ 11.00 per point. Will not split the points.

****Please read additional information below in this thread as to how these points can be used :) *****

Thanks

What's your home resort?

Very interested if your home resort is BLT or AKV.

Thanks.

Does "Will not split points" mean you're looking to sell them all to 1 person?

I'm looking for about 112 points for AKV in January 2014.
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I need to clarify a few things. First off I am getting a few people who are asking me for points that can be used at Disney Vacation club resorts.

As mentioned in my first post, these points can ONLY be used at a Disney COLLECTION resort, which covers Disney cruise line or Disney resorts that are NOT a part of Disney vacation club.

They also CAN be used for Adventures by Disney, which would be say a African safari etc. These would cover vacations that have a actual guide who takes you around. They also CAN be used for World passport collection which would include over 500 other (NON DISNEY) resorts around the world. The points would be traded for a RCI or Club Cordial or Club Intrawest location which is essentially other timeshares around the world. These points initially were booked under these terms and so they cannot be returned back into the Disney Vacation Club type status. Disney vacation club required that once a vacation has been cancelled, that the points initially booked for the vacation have to stay within the category they were transferred into to book the initial vacation.

These points were transferred into a Disney collection category, thus they have to be used within that category and cannot be used at a Disney vacation club resort. They MUST be used at say Grand Floridian, Polynesian Resort ,Fort Wilderness, Yacht Club, Caribbean Beach Club,Coronado Springs or Port Orleans, Disneyland resort in California, Tokyo Disney resort, Hong Kong Disney resort and Disneyland Paris resort (all of these are NOT DVC resorts) so they are ok in this situation. They cannot be used at Aulani, Bay Lake Tower, Animal Kingdom Villas, Beach Club Villas, Boardwalk, Hilton Head In S Carolina, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, or Vero Beach resort in Vero Beach Florida.

Hope this clarifies everything. Please let me know if anyone is now interested in renting these points. I would like to rent them out all together if possible but may also be willing to look at splitting them up if the amounts aren't to small.:goodvibes

How are points calculated at a nonDVC? I would be interested in a one week stay in the Polynesian in late Oct - studio.

Hi, this is a long shot, first time even thinking about points so no idea how ths works, so please bear with me.

We have booked our flights due to land at MCO on 7th november, happy to stay at any Disney resort, (need lts of room and as cheap as possible). Then we hoped to do the Disney dreams Bahamas cruise from 17th November for 4nights and we fly out again on 21st November.

I am a single parent from the UK and am looking at it this way as I am a foster carer and looking to bring my foster children. Whoever I have at the time.

So it will range from myself, daughter and her boyfriend if no placement at the time of holiday.

I also foster children newborn up to the age of 9yrs, so possibly may have two children but will not know till nearer the time.

So for the Disney hotel it would be ok, but could prove complicated if I need to add children to the cruise. So if we could do it on the 3adults then add children later (or if I can pay Disney direct for them to add to the cruise)

Sorry if this is complicated, I confuse myself

Can you let me know how much and how it would work.

Thanks

For a one week stay in late October, it comes to 366 points. The points charts do not calculate studio etc. They calculate by location, such as Garden view, Lagoon view or Lagoon view club level. The 366 points would be Garden View location. The points are higher for a Disney collection hotel than for DVC resort.

As a reminder, these points CAN be used for the world passport collection which is using these points to stay at places all over the world including Hawaii, Australia, Europe etc.... Not to mention that you can also use them to stay at lots of hotels all over the USA! You roughly pay around 270 points to stay at places like these for a entire week. Something to think about.:cool1:

In order to quote you point values, I would really need to know what resort your interested in. Every resort is different and all are different depending on time of year. Also, are you interested in only Disney resorts or are you also interested in World passport collection resorts?

Hi Sue,

I am interested in either Disneyland Resort or Paradise Pier for 10 nights checking in Nov 16. The room would need to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (aged 9, 6, and 4 at time of travel.)

I am unsure of the calculation for points with non-DVC resorts.

Thanks.

Hi Sue,
I am in need of 229 points. Would you be willing to do a point transfer? I need to book to studios in the 7 month window. My home is BC.
