I had a great workout today! I did 1 hour on the treadmill. For the first 40 min. I concentrated on increasing my speed. The time just flew by! The next 10 I did at a 10% incline. I did decrease my speed, but it surely did kick my but a little. felt great! then I finished with a round of intervals. Followed by lifting weights. I am tired now, my feet a little sore as we also did some hard work out on the ice this morning and I had to wear boots and hike through some snow. BUT I feel GREAT!
Except... my front tooth chipped tonight!
It is one that I actually chipped back in 4th grade, I actually chipped both of my front teeth back then, luckily only 1 chipped tonight. But I look RIDICULOUS... And wouldn't you know we are implementing a new computer system in the hospital on Monday, there will be a ton of people there and I have this ridicuous chipped tooth. uggghhh I feel like I look like the stereotypical hillbillie...
OK, on to better things... A very motivational video. There are 2 of them, but the same person, but the second one has more info in it. If you can only watch 1, watch the second one. I am reaching toward that goal of running in the disney 1/2 marathon, and this certainly shows me it is possible...

but didn't take any! After dinner I was also a bit hungry and I took just a few pistachio nuts and ate those instead. I am pretty proud of myself! It isn't easy to avoid them, but I am proud of doing so. Especially considering my DD just finished selling a box of chocolate for school. I have 2 of those candy bars set aside for me. I've taken 1 Square of a the caramel and that is it!!!!
