Gotcha...I'm having a similar dilemma then, so I'm not super helpful. But I think in your shoes I would probably switch to Pop. I feel like my kids would like AoA more as far as the character stuff goes, but we would also have to stay in a Little Mermaid room and I'm not a fan of having a long walk to the food court.

I think the theming of the Cars area is so cute! The computer pool at Pop is literally just a rectangle, and it is by the rooms that are the farthest from the main pool/food area. I think it might be one of those things that sounds better than it is. If it were me, I would stay at AoA.

In theory I agree, but the fact that her son has special needs that overlap with ASD has me second guessing. If he is fixating on this, it could definitely end up being a regret to go with AoA and have a trip full of meltdowns when he realizes the pool isn't there. Not that he definitely would, but it seems like a possibility based on my own experiences.

How far off is your trip? There is still a decent chance that he will find something new to fixate on and not even care. Book where it makes the most sense and in budge.

This. Totally agree here. In this scenario i'd go for Pop.

OP, the LM room is quite nice too, and definitely cheaper than the cars room. If you decide to go that route, between Pop or LM/AoA, I might opt for LM. Computer and LM sections are both far from the main building. So dont let the distance to the main building influence you too much.
