35th Anniversary

Anyone hear any rumors about the 35th Anniversary coming up for WDW?? Trying to plan our next trip and wondering if should wait until the end of the year.

I'm planning on being at WDW on October 1, 2006, the 35th anniversary, and I'm wondering if anyone's heard anything about what this day might be like in terms of special activities, etc.

Also, can I expect the Magic Kingdom, or WDW in general to be mobbed that day?

Thre is nothing scheduled as of now. Disney just had a major press event two weeks ago for the opening of Expedition Everest and one of the media events was a look at upcoming events.

As of now, nothing is planned. That is, of course, subject to change.
