Congratulations!

Whats the craziest thing you witnessed this year on the boats?

Do they honk the horns continously on purpose each early morning for those sleeping at BWVs and Poly lol

Can't they get the A/C working better? Ride the busses and you freeze, ride the boats and you bake.

Also guests are not allowed on the dock while the vessel is docking, and I have seen guests jump the ropes as I was pulling out (one with 3 pizzas in hand) trying to get on the boat. I have also pulled up to a dock where a guest had 3 tripods with cameras set up on the edge of the dock.
Once upon a time, there was a cm stationed on every dock. But that was back when Disney put safety above saving money.
Hi! Yeah, the problem with the boats in my opinion is the constant opening and closing of the doors. Every dock the door must open to let the deck hand off.
See my previous comment.
This let's what ever AC that was on the boat right out. I found in the morning when there is less guests it is much cooler, however during the day, you're better off opening all the windows and using the breeze.
I think the real problem is that the rooftop A/C units are old and in need of replacement. The boats actually used to be comfortable, even in hot weather. And the windows in the passenger section used to open, but Disney sealed them to save on maintenance costs (I assume.)

When the boats first came out I don't even remember them having the roof top units and they were fine. So I wonder if the on board A/C units failed, they cost too much to repair, so Disney went with the cheap Coleman units that normally go on motor homes/campers. IMHO for the number of people that can be on those boats, add in Florida temps, plus the opening/closing of the doors, they just can't handle the load.

Is this correct....Epcot International Gate, BW, YC/BC, Swalphin, DHS, then back to Epcot or do the boats do the same thing backwards from DHS to Swalphin first?

If I ever get my house on the lake I want to get one of those things and turn it into a party boat. I love how they maneuver!

I personally haven't witnessed anything to crazy. I drove the boats from Epcot to the resorts and then over to Hollywood. It was interesting some nights, just because Epcot tends to be the more, "adult park". Also guests are not allowed on the dock while the vessel is docking, and I have seen guests jump the ropes as I was pulling out (one with 3 pizzas in hand) trying to get on the boat. As far as the horns, they are required.
Approaching a dock - 2 horns.
Backing up - 3 horns.
Going forward (leaving a dock) - 1 horn.
Passing another vessel on the starboard side - 2 horns.
Passing one on the port side - 1 horn.
Going under a bridge - 1 horn.

It can seem like the vessels are continuously using the horn.

Thank you so much for explaining that. We just got back from our stay at BWV and I wondered why we heard so much honking.
