34 days til WDW, and DS made the 44" mark!

Some of you may remember I was the dumbie who asked (back in Aug. I think) about my DS5's chances of growing 1 inch by Dec. I was naive and didn't realized how flamed I'd get for that one! He is my daredevil and determined to try EE. Well, we measured everyone yesterday, and low and behold, he is exactly at the 44" mark, without shoes! So they can grow a whole inch in 4 months! DS7 measured in at 50", but will be too chicken to ride Splash, let alone EE.

So there's an update, and a happy ending!

AWESOME!!!!! My six year old is just as excited to ride EE in 31 days!!!! The 9 yr old is more chicken.

I haven't wanted to measure because I am afraid I will be sad that they won't make the cut. I think I will try to measure today and see where we are at. Glad your kid made it. It will be that more fun now.

My 6 year old can't wait to ride EE! My 13 year old is too scared and refuses to ride it

That's great! We are hoping for some growth for DS3 by mid Jan. He is about 1/4 inch shy of the 40 inch mark right now. Less baby swaping sounds real nice!

WOOHOO!!! Don't ya love it when things work out for the best!

Last we were @ WDW my DD was 7 and bummed to be too short for some of the thrill rides but it didn't ruin our vacation as there are soooooo many alternatives.
But one never knows with kids - she rode Tower of Terror like 10 times but refused to even look at Space Mountain and ran out screamin from Bug's life!


Now at age 13 we are doing the "dare swap" - I'm trading a horrendous spin on Tea Party for her willingness to plunge into the darkness of SM, amongst others.
It's great for those "she made me do it" stories post WDW!!
