Go get one. If you can get to a Target while the deal is valid, you can apply for a RedCard debit card. Bring a check and ID; naturally, the debit card has to be linked to a checking account. You still save 5% on all Target purchases (don't know if this deal qualifies)

This was discussed on a forum on the other site. Someone reported that the cards can only be applied for in-store and that you only receive a portion of your account number. The person posting stated when they called customer service to try to get the full account number, they were told that this information could not be provided over the phone on new accounts because security questions had not yet been established.
Another person posted that the codes would not work with their Target debit card.

The Local Walmart is going to be so mad at me! I bought an 8GB with a kit for $224 shipped site to store right before black friday as my back up in case I didn't get one on black friday. The day AFTER black friday I realized it was now $20 cheaper so I emailed and asked if, rather then cancelling the first and ordering another, if they would do a price adjustment. Nope. So I order the 2nd anyway. Then I realized I forgot to use ebates so I ordered a 3rd one, with the plan of picking up and returning the first 2 in one trip. Now I find this deal for the 32GB and Target gets my money in the end!

Just go to your account on Amazon, look up past orders and click on your specific order, there's a link for 'return package', just click on it and it will ask for a reason. Click on 'found better price' and then it will direct you to a return label you can print..I don't believe you have to pay for return shipping if it's a price difference. Also, you can always hit the 'help' button on the top right hand corner of the home page and then 'contact us' on the right column. Follow instructions to do either a live chat, or have them call you.

We had the exact same experience. An item we wanted was $10 cheaper on line (+ the 5% redcard discount) and we couldnt use it online until we actually had the physical card in our possession.
