32GB Ipod Touch 2nd Generation question

I'm thinking of buying a new Ipod touch and was wondering if the new 2nd generation comes with the new apps program or will I have to purchase that. I thought it came with it since it is the newer one but I can't find anything telling me if it is already in it or not.

It comes with the latest software version (2.0) which includes the app store. You won't have to pay extra for it. BTW, I have a gen 1 iPod Touch and love it!

So the apps store means I will be able to use apps on the ipod? DH is eyeing up some of the free apps and am hoping to be able to use it basically right out of the box.

Yep, once you connect it to iTunes and register it you'll be able to start downloading apps. You can get apps through the iTunes store on your computer or through the app store on your iPod. Have fun!
