Tuesday 29th May
Up and off to the Columbia Centre via a pit stop at Starbucks, well we were in Seattle. We exchanged my Groupon Voucher for tickets and headed to the 73rd floor via 2 lifts of the tallest building in Seattle to look at the view and a fraction of the cost of the Needle. It was a bit confusing when we first went in as there was no signs anywhere pointing you in the right direction and it just seemed like an office block so we had to ask directions.
Next he headed to Pioneer Square and the Underground Tour. This tour was great, it was a really interesting way to present the history of Seattle, the tour guide was excellent and as the title suggests you get to go underground or in truth you go to the real ground floor of Seattle.
We walked over to what they had said on the hop on bus was a monument to the firefighters who died on 9/11, and although it was a memorial to firefighters it was built before 9/11 happened so I think they need to check their facts.
We headed down to the waterfront area to get some lunch in the Crab Pot which Mike had spotted yesterday and wanted to try. I got a chicken, bacon and cheese sandwich with fries which was very nice and Mike got the Ciopini which meant it turned into a very long lunch as it was huge and very slow to eat. A much better meal than last night.
We got on the hop on bus again and I tried to get a photo of hammering man on the way over to the Seattle Centre where we went in the EMP museum which had lots of different exhibits based around music, pop culture and sci fi. At the moment they had exhibits on Jimi Hendrix, Nivana, AC/DC, Horror Films, Avatar, a sound booth and lots of instruments you could play. I designed an Avatar flower, played a Navi in a green screen film booth but it messed up and didn't work properly, played the drums, keyboard and guitar, then joined AC/DC, before having a scream.

We rode the monorail built for the World's Fair over to the Westlake Centre and had a look in the shops and then watched MIB3 in 3D, i'd give it 3 stars.
