Hi
We are leaving for Eurodisney in 32 days :cool1: - can't believe it has came around so quick!! As we are driving from Scotland and using the Eurotunnel I was wondering if anyone can share any tips or experiences of there driving trips to eurodisney (I am beginning to think we should have booked flights but we were waiting on delivery of a brand new car when we booked ED and thought it would be a good idea to drive!!!)

Oh how exciting!

We drive from Yorkshire, so not as far - don't know how far into Scotland you are. Takes us about 4.5 hours from York in a car to get to the tunnel, then about 3 hours on the other side. We always try and get on the park even if only for the last hour to give ds some time to burn off energy after being in the car a long time.

We've never had any problems driving in France, except we always miss the exit and have to double back. Tolls are at about £20.

Can't help with the driving, lannie, but just wanted to say it'll soon be here! :wizard:

I cant help as regards driving either but would love to hear more about your trip? Where are you staying ad what youre looking forward to?
Hope you have a fantastic trip :goodvibes

We drove all the way from Wick last September, it's pretty easy, the tunnel is a breeze, really easy to find your way around. The drive through France is also straightforward there's just one little blip where we always seem to take the wrong slip road and go in a big circle (it's a bit of a family joke now!) but the sat nav always brings us back around again. Again driving into the park and the hotels is easy as it's really well signposted.

The busiest part of the journey for us has always been the bit around the Dartford crossing bridge bit, always seems to be busy but once past that it's normally clear.

Have fun, I always enjoy the journey as that's the start of the magic !

We are staying at Hotel Cheyenne (our 2 boys choose the hotel because of the cowboy theme!!!) Never stayed at this hotel so looking forward to it! I am really looking forward to having breakfast with the characters as never did this and this is a birthday treat for my eldest son who is hyper at the thought of it!! :yay::yay:

We always drive and find it quite easy. Be aware that that there are toll roads in France and last week the cost was E20.40 each way. Basically when you get out of the Eurotunnel you follow the signs to Paris most of the way there, then you need to look out for signs to marne le vallee. The drive through France normally takes us about 3 hours. Have you looked at what you need in the car to drive legally in France?
