32 days and haven't received our travel docs yet

Yikes! I'm dying here in suburbia! We received our ME packet last week...unfortunately we won't need it since I booked a minivan on Priceline ($25 a day! Woo hoo!). I am still waiting for the rest of our travel docs.

Purchased a Passporter over the weekend since I've heard great things about them. I also ordered the new 2009 UG from Amazon today...I should have it tomorrow. My 2008 one is well loved! LOL

Mickey Head countdown has been completed but we keep forgetting to take a head off the pile! I'm surprised the kids haven't been reminding me.

I'll feel better once I have those docs...I can put them with our MNSSHP tickets and our travel insurance docs. Ordered our Disney Rewards card last week.

I need to start working on our t-shirts...I had some WONDERFUL Dis'ers make us fantastic personalized images...these ladies are very talented and generous. They are spreading pixie dust!

Has anyone else leaving in 29-32 days received their docs yet?

I got my ME first and then a week late the rest of the travel documents. You should be getting them soon.

Enjoy planning the rest of your trip. We leave on Monday and I cannot believe that it has come up so fast. This summer has just flown by.

I think I enjoy the planning part just as much as the actual vacation! I hope the rest of the travel docs come this week. I read a thread about someone whose docs never arrived and they were told to pick them up at the resort when they arrived at WDW. To me, getting them in the mail is another reminder the trip is getting closer.

I bet your kids are really excited. Have fun next week!

and we are 24 days out!! It makes it seem so real suddenly doesn't it!?!

DH and I can hardly wait. We've had three deaths in the family in the last four weeks, and almost cancelled. I'm so glad we didn't as it will be some much needed re-grouping and centering time for us. Everytime I look at that little envelope over by the sink, I smile!!

But I am 11 days to go and I don't have my AAA docs yet and we booked back in Feb. I did get ME tags though.

I called and they are on the woman's desk and should be sent out tomorrow-Whew, but I think that took way too long

You're right, that's too long & cutting it too close. Man, what is it about AAA people keeping them on their desk? Don't they know they have OC Disers going crazy over this? Same thing happened to us before May 2008 trip. I called her 4 weeks out & she claimed they'd be getting there any day. I know when we book direct through Disney we have them in our mail box right about 30 days ahead of arrival date. She finally called about 17 days out & told me I had to come to the office to pick it up (1/2 hour away) because it was "too big to mail." I was steamed until I found out the reason they couldn't mail was because we were getting a bonus gift of a car DVD player! so then I wasn't as steamed

Our September trip coming up in 10 days...we booked straight with Disney for the Free Dining...had the packet from them 32 days before arrival.
