Just booked my flight from Orlando to LAX and then home through Southwest for July.

I am spending a few days at Disney World ( I live 2 hours away, it is considered home) and then using Magical Express to drop me off at MCO Thursday morning for my flight to LAX. My best friend will be with me and other friend is flying from Michigan and will meet me at Disneyland.

Staying at the Disneyland hotel!!!!!

I can't make ADRS for a while, but here are my tentative plans:

Arrival: Plane lands 1:10.. Tentative arrival: 3. Trader Sams for drinks, Steakhouse 55 dinner
Day 2: Disneyland: Breakfast- Plaza Inn with Minnie, Lunch: Rancheo del zocalo, dinner: blue bayou paint the night package
Day 3: CA Adventure: Breakfast- Ariel's Groto, Cathey Circle WOC package, dinner: Flos Cafe
Day 4: Disneyland. Breakfast: Tangaroa Terrace, Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour, dinner: Cafe Orleans
Day 5:: Birthday!!! Breakfast: Goofy's Kitchen. Lunch: Wine Country WOC package, dinner: Napa Rose
Day 6: Split Day between parks. Breakfast: Storyteller's, lunch: Naples, dinner: Carnation Cafe

Let me know how this sounds. Should I add anything? Any tips, suggestions or need to knows??

You are traveling from WDW to DLR, is there any way you could visit both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland on the same day?
Just a crazy idea, perhaps not reasonable considering only 5-day hoppers are available.

You might want to scale back your dining plans, seems like way too much food. Although I enjoy large meals, one TS per day is my limit.

Have a Happy Birthday!

Wow! I agree....that's a lot of eating! LOL!! I could never eat 3 meals a day like that at the park. Half of your day will be spent sitting at a table instead of enjoying the park. We might plan one meal a day, but that's it. The rest of the time we wing it and just grab something wherever we are. Have a great birthday and don't forget to grab your birthday button when you check in at the hotel! :bday:

It looks like you know how to treat yourself to a good time!!

Have fun!

I have to agree with the others - with all those dining plans when are you going to find time to do any of the other attractions. We find doing either a breakfast/lunch and dinner is plenty - to do three meals a day, as many times the meals are very filling - would be just far too much for us. Keep in mind many of these dining experiences take up quite a bit of time too - but you know yourself better than anyone else. Also, keep in mind DLR does not have a dining program like WDW.

Sounds like you will have a fun time though, enjoy!

I agree with above. Especially the breakfast buffets! We didn't eat again until late evening the last time we ate at Minnie's.

As everyone else is pointing out, at DLR, you don't necessarily need to plan a TS restaurant for every meal. I understand ADRs in WDW are a must-do, but, at DLR, unless you enjoy continual sit down meals, there's a lot of other treats/places to walk up and eat that don't require (or even take!) ADRs.

Lots of people love the corn dogs at the Red Wagon or Korn Dog Kastle. I like the fish and chips at Golden Horseshoe (cute show to watch too).

First, happy birthday!! I'll be 30 in March and I'm heading to WDW.

HOWEVER, I am doing DL later this year. From my experience last summer, I don't think you really need to do all those sit down places. But hey, it's your birthday! Eat all the food!

I don't think you are going to have the time or energy for attractions after all that food.

Ditto on the meals...counter service is plentiful and really decent at DLR. I would especially reconsider your birthday - Wine Country really isn't something to write home about (personally, I hated it, and I'm not a picky eater) and the WOC area is right by the water, so you get sprayed a lot. Of course, you're going in the summer, so that may not be a bad thing :-) You already have Carthay Circle for the package, so it's not like you really need it. I'd try to get into the Cove Bar in DCA for the lobster nachos instead.
