30th at Disney

Hi! We are celebrating my 30th bithday at Disney this year! It will be my husband, my kids (8 & 5), and me during August 26- Sept. 1.
What should we do? Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Play mini golf, spend time checking out the resorts on the monrail line, Eat ice cream a couple of times a day, hahaha All of you go and have tea at the GF Garden View tea room..ressies are needed...have a great birthday and a magical vacation

Go to dowtown market place and go to design a t-shirt store and get shirts made up for your anniversary and also go to guest services and get anniversary buttons.All the theme parks should have guest services

Are there any special restaurants or WDW opportunities (e.g., the Wishes cruise or dessert party, the Characters in Flight balloon, the Circ de Soleil show, etc.) that you've been wanting to try?

Could you get a breakfast reservation at your favorite park before opening, so you could enjoy some quiet time in your favorite park before opening?

Could you do something silly or fun, specific to your interests, like using a park hopper to see all of your favorite attraction(s) in each park on your birthday?

Depending on your kids' temperaments/your comfort level, could your kids check out one of the Kids Clubs while you and your DH have a grown-up evening?

If I were you, I'd be really tempted to order a birthday cake from WDW because they always look so good in pictures!

Where are you staying? Who is in your party? We are at the Boardwalk Villas. We decided to do the Spirit of Aloha. I would suggest Hoop De Doo Revue- we usually do that every visit!

Play mini golf. Hit the water parks. scope out the other resorts. sit in the front(drivers) car on the monorail. take the train ride in MK.

I too will be celebrating my 30th birthday at Disney. I decided to schedule my trip shortly before my actual birthday so I could go to EPCOT for its 30th "birthday" on October 1st. I plan to make a t-shirt that references me and EPCOT turning 30 together. You could do something creative like the t-shirt, wear a birthday button, eat at a restaurant you have never been to before and tell them it's your birthday. Most important, HAVE FUN and CELEBRATE!

Two friends and I will be celebrating our 50th (eek!!!) birthdays in June with a weeks cruise on the Fantasy followed by a week in our happy place!!!! Besides doing some of the things suggested on this thread, we will have a special birthday dinner complete with cake and will have our wonderful Orlando photographer come along to shoot the dinner and maybe do a few shots at the new Art of Animation Resort. Seems to me there are a lot of wonderful photo ops at that new resort!!!!
