It sounds like you already made a great choice, but I will say for me - as a first time cruiser, it came down to my beach experiences. The times that I have booked a beach condo with a direct oceanfront balcony, was SOOO worth it compared to saving money by being 1 block away, etc. Morning coffee with the ocean sunrise while the little ones sleep is priceless.
