I love this show so much, and aside from Liz being my favorite character I am seriously in love with Jack Donaghy. No.I.am.serious. Alec Baldwin's character has to be the hottest republican on TV. I don't care how old he is.

Right? Holy crap, I don't think I had ever seen an Alec Baldwin movie before 30 Rock and he is so darn good. Such a fantastic actor and perfect for this show, to help Tina Fey who had so little acting experience before this. And in that HD episode where they showed his younger self? WOW

You should see The Hunt for Red October. Baldwin is almost unrecognizable.

The show is funny, and the chemistry between Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey is wonderful.

I knew I LOVED the show during the Jack-tor episode of season 1, when Jack is doing that GE promo, and Jonathan shows Liz the outtakes with all his mistakes. I laughed until I cried! Holding the two coffee mugs feels more natural. Doesn't know what to do with his arms when he walks. "Is it *this* and *this*?" I am laughing now just thinking of it ...

Oh, I think I saw The Hunt for Red October long ago. Will have to check it out again.

I have never related to any character as much as I do her. So is this thread ok for spoilers, because there are a few scenes I'd love to bring up that make me giggle just thinking about them?

I love any scene with Dr. Spaceman. The episode where Tracy and Jack are going to have vasectomys has 2 of my favorite lines:
"There's not a box that says The Cosby Show lied to me. How about 'Cheers Lied To Me'?
And
"Now be sure not to eat anything in the morning before surgery. I'll have a nice big breakfast waiting here for you."

I also love the episode where Liz dates the little person and she keeps unintentionally doing and saying the wrong thing. Poor Liz, she tries so hard but fails so badly. I can so relate.

Dr. Spaceman is great! I love that Cheers line. I think my favorite of his is when Jenna is doing a movie and TGS and wants to not have to sleep.

Dr. Spaceman: My lab work is in the field of sleep research. Mostly because I checked the wrong box on a form once. We are currently working on a pill that keeps people awake under any circumstances. It’s being funded by the US Military and the WNBA.
Jenna: Where do I sign up?
Dr. Spaceman: Oh please, we don’t want a paper trail.
(both laugh heartily)
Dr. Spaceman (becomes serious): Take 25 of these a day for the rest of your life.

"Shelter of abused women, please be quiet, a man is speaking." All the story lines were great last week. Tracy's was great.

"In Darfur, the dead may be the lucky ones. Next slide."

I hope he gets his Oscar and one step closer to that EGOT.

ETA: Just remembered this one which had me laughing and laughing:

Avery: The Jessup family crest is a knight, refusing to talk about his feelings.

There is something about the bluntness of Avery I like a lot. Her and Jack are good together. Actually, the bluntness of the whole cast is hysterical!

She said she was looking at the Disney World website and showed it to her daughter. Her young daughter looked at the pictures of DW and said (wide eyed, I'm sure) "I want to go to there" Cute huh?

Did anyone catch her receiving the Mark Twain Award? It was a fun award show, probably the best one I ever watched. LOL

Ok, you can believe this or not, but I swear to God it's true: the last time my dad and I went to NYC on vacation (we've gone 4 times, this spring, he's taking my girls for the first time) we stopped at the NBC Gift shop at Rockefeller Center because I saw a Princeton Plainsboro tshirt I wanted to get DH (I have no clue why they had "House" merch in that store, but they did). Anyway, my dad had never seen 30 Rock before but they were playing episodes on a tv in the store. He watched while I shopped. I have always watched it and tried to talk him into watching in previously. After I checked out and was ready to leave, he was still watching. He became an instant fan and ordered all the episodes on dvd that were out at the time. And every time a new season comes out, he buys it that day. So he discovered 30 Rock at 30 Rock!
