3 years ago today....

at exactly this time, 10:38 in the morning, I was sneaking into the bathroom of my hospital room to drink a teeny tiny drop of water (and I mean drop, didn't even wet my mouth). why did I have to sneak? because in just a few hours, I would have my beautiful twins. Happy birthday munchkins!

I ate mini snickers and drank water and DARED anyone to tell me a thing.
My husband was like " i cant bring you any thing to eat or drink" I told him if he ever wanted to have sex again he would bring it to me

I was having a section (both were breech) so figured chancing it too much wouldn't be a good thing.

now, with my eldest, I had planned the old fashioned way of doing things. I had to be induced due to some complications, and as soon as I was in my room and just getting started, I had a nice grilled chicken sandwich. figured I'd need my strength when push came to shove (so to speak). only a few hours later it was determined that a section needed to be done. they were concerned that I'd had a meal so close to it, but nothing to be done about it now. the funny thing is, after that section I was fine, but with the twins I was as sick as a dog.
